Mystery Box 3: Escape The Room

I really like this series of games, I don’t understand how people find it too obscure, it would be boring if too easy, great graphics, nice music, excellent puzzles, what’s not to like? I also love the pierces of information you learn from completing chapters. Excellent game.

I paid for the full game, but was quite disappointed in it. The majority of the puzzles don’t seem to make much sense. The animation is not as slick as The Room. And there isn’t a landscape mode. C’mon guys, who uses their iPad in portrait mode to play games? I won’t be bothering with the rest of the series

I can’t get past the ‘Price of illusion’ level. I put in the numbers but nothing happens.

Seems a bit short. Paid to remove ads when really it would have only been couple ads to watch. No indication of which levels you have completed without going to it again. The clues aren’t clues - more observations. And some don’t help even a little. Some puzzles can work out 75% of it, then guess to solve without ever knowing how I got to that point. And the last puzzle. Nope. I have no idea what c is. I assume the triangle is 3. I also assume what the second number is. The camera angles on some puzzles made it almost silly to find hidden clues.

yes level 8 has a bug ok so please fix it ok

Mostly love these games but feel let myself down with this as a couple I couldn’t finish and the last one I just couldn’t workout what you wanted with the butterfly’s and uninstalled it cos I tried for hours.

I usually love these types of games however the hints/guides/clues in this one are sometimes next to useless and I simply cannot work out the answers. The game doesn’t flow well because of this, it’s a bit clunky and a bit of a mish mash of other games without the fun. Just can’t get my head round it if im honest. Wanted to love it but it’s too obscure for me Thank you for the response, I appreciate you taking the time to reply. My personal problem is that I don’t understand the clues that have been left in the puzzle itself, not the hints that you use when stuck - those do help and I do get the answer, but I can’t fathom out how I would have got to the answer without the in-game hints. The game itself is beautiful and well done but I do feel defeated every puzzle when I have to use the hints all the time; I feel like I haven’t actually got to the answer myself and I’m just guessing in the vain hope something will work. I hope that explains it better, and thank you :-)

I have done many many of these, and this is literally impossible. Even with the help there’s nothing on screen that you can do to continue on and that was on multiple puzzles.

Bought the “Premium pack” for all four games thinking less money and easier to move through games. WRONG. Finished first set and when I got to the second set could only play first two boxes then wants me to pay $4.99 to keep playing! Tried to “Restore Purchase” but just has the screen blink on and off. On a good note, I contacted support and they promptly replied, twice, but after showing them the problem they said it was an Apple Store problem (within the app??). Said if they (Apple) charged me they would refund on PayPal. Ok but what happens on the third set, then the fourth…. What a pain. Repeat and request refund wait and track. Repeat. What a pain. The game is ok and nice time waster. Nothing too deep. I want to keep playing and would not give 1 star except for the restore purchase problem. Another issue is that the game does not remember your progress (except completed ones). If you start a box and are part way through and stop you need to start all over. Also does not even translate that over to a different device, start all over for all. Used to be games connected through Apple and always remember but not here. They said the last two games of the series do have a “memory” of progress but not the first two. Seems like they would fix that. Not sure what I am going to do for this second set just don’t want to pay and wait for a “ refund”. Especially to have to repeat that for two more. Frustrated.
