I was 16 in high school when this came out. I’m 24 and finished college and am going into a university now and coming back to this game. No otome will ever live up to the hype that this game did, it has the best immersion by utilizing smartphones and having its own dedicated interface with a dev team that loves this game and another games so much still.

I know it’s an old game but man c’mon. Add an option to be a boy cause not only girls play it and the in game excuse for why the player must be a girl is dumb. Ever heard of being gay? Anyway make it gender neutral like Obey me. Obey me is better anyway.
I love how humorous and suspenseful it is sometimes, I just wish there was a guy version or a setting. I love yaoi. Thank you for making this masterpiece~
I redownloaded this game after completing multiple endings. It’s just so fun. Very interactive, thrilling, behavior based, good chemistry, and the characters are so well developed. I will be playing this again! Loved the seasonal updates!
It’s very entertaining. It makes me laugh a lot when MC makes funny and honest comments. Zen and Yoosung are my favorites, but yoosung is very hard to get. It’s rare when I get his good route. Zen is someone every theater kid or theater lover wants. This game is the best game I ever played and it makes me feel like I have friends.

Gosh, this game is a such a classic otome game that everyone loves! If you haven’t heard of Mystic Messenger yet, then where have you been? This game is simply amazing and so well done. I played this game religiously during my freshman & sophomore year of high school. Now that I’m a full-time med student I can’t keep up with the chat logs (since they correspond to real time and I barely even have time to take care of myself LOL) but I’ll occasionally see something MM related online and it never fails to make me smile. Simply a game I could never forget! The characters are *chefs kiss* and the storyline is incredible. If you have a flexible schedule or maybe a break / vacation I’d definitely recommend to play it through yourself! Nothing will ever compare to this beautiful nostalgic game (( and my forever favorite boy, Jumin :P ))
It was fine. If you have the ACTUAL TIME to put into this game then it’s worth it. Its 10 days of prioritizing messaging back to the characters, answering calls and emails, and getting enough “earned time” to recover what you missed. Also, there were videos that were part of the story line so after I finished the game I wasn’t able to see it because it IT WOULD NEVER LOAD T-T. I attempted 3 times in high and low quality options to watch it and it just never played. Overall it gets a 3. I would recommend it to those who are looking for “company”, otherwise you could live without it.
