This app made me write a book I called it sold soul and it’s good 5 starts

I really like this app. I use it for a tiny bit of writing, I don’t write books but I honestly like this a teensy bit better than using google docs. I had to switch from google docs because of the new AI stuff, but I enjoy this app so far. My one wish is that I could have covers for my books, it would make finding what I wrote much easier!

I really enjoy this app for writing my stories. It’s much better than Word, which have every chapter separate. In this app it’s all in one. I do have a few complaints though. First when there is maintenance to be done, people who have an account should get an email about it. That way we will be prepared, and for how long it will be. Also, I don’t like that the book will be deleted over months of activity (without paying). I think it’s unfair. Also, we should choose picture of the book, not with monthly fee. There should be more things added like links, photos, quotes, and videos for those who pay monthly.

This App totally helps with writing story’s! You can print it after your done and it has ways to help organize ideas! Would Give 5 stars if a few bugs where fixed and you did not hav to pay for gallery and it did not shut down you account after a few weeks of inactivity. Either way, it’s still very useful!

EDIT: selecting a scene no longer jumps to that scene, very frustrating. I was foolishly written a story in the Notes app when I accidentally deleted an entire 10,000 word chapter. I had no way to get it back and didn’t want to make the same mistake again, so I went searching for something a little more geared for long term writing. This app actually showed up under the “similar” section of an app I loved, but was heavily locked out due to membership fees. This app has basically all the same features (chapters, organization, etc) but available up front. It keeps everything so organized and has inspired me to start more stories due to its ease. It even had more features than the other app, like the character and place log; I never thought I should organize my characters, but it makes it easy to keep track of everything I’ve introduced thus far. My main joy with this app is the fact that it backs up all of your progress and saves its every edit, so I won’t have to worry about making the same mistake again. I love this peace of mind.

I do, I love this app. The monthly subscription is easy on the bank account, and I love the auto save feature. If I had to find faults with this app, I would say it is I can’t reorganize the books I am working on. It would be a great help to be able to move the ones I am done with from the top to the bottom or reorganize at my convenance. I would also like to you adding dyslexic friendly fonts. Even if it is just Comic Sans. As someone who is severely dyslexic, I will it is a hassle to use Google Docs to write then copy and paste into My Story because you don’t have a dyslexic friendly fonts.

i love this app so much, but I wish you could add your own book covers. other than that, it is great for organizing your story :)

I wish the app ran smoother. When reading through something I’ve written then tapping to edit one tiny mistake, I have to scroll through the entire chapter till I reach that point. And the scrolling is extremely choppy, it doesn’t glide at all. Not bad from an organizing point of view, but it’s just not practical for writing or using it as fast and smoothly as I’d like to.

Great app I just wish you could pick your book covers. Otherwise I completely recommend.
