This app was supposed to be an “upgrade” from the old CTC app that I had that was no longer going to be supported by CTC or Nibe or whoever it is who controls the app. This my uplink app is poor . You can’t scroll up and down like you could on the old CTC app, so you can’t seewhether the hot water is on and all the other screens, unless you actually come out of one screen and then go back into another screen ; it’s just so not user-friendly. It also falls over quite frequently. At the moment I’m struggling to get anything working at all on the myUplink. For days it kept telling me the temperature outside was 11° when it clearly wasn’t and now I can not control my hot water or my holiday mode from this quite useless app. I think there was an update last weekend that took it from being fairly useless to completely useless and it keeps telling me I’ve got no Internet connection. I have got Internet connection ; there’s nothing wrong with it. Please sort this app out. I’m quite lucky that because I have a CTC product I’m not paying for it but a lot of people are paying decent money for this app. It needs to be right and it’s most certainly not. Update July 24 this app just gets worse and worse. A month ago I could easily see on the dashboard if I’d put it into holiday mode or not but now I have to go into menu and check . Why has this gone from the dashboard? Do you care about this app or your customers? This is the 21st century and we should have much better functionality remotely operating our very expensive heat pumps . Not good enough

So very disappointing, the APP fails the end user at every level. Poor design and hopeless functionality

Old version (Uplink) much better than this app which I had to transfer to. And I pay an annual fee of £24 for it too! I have lost functionality (system information log history is no longer available) and setting the time in schedules is very difficult. This is because the app time selection spins around like a fruit machine, and selects random times even after a time has been set. I would like to give this 0 stars. Developer - Do Better!

The old nibe app was very poor. This maybe looks slightly better, but is actually even less use. Most of the data I could get on the old app is now unavailable, and still no ability to actually control anything without an over-priced subscription. And I can’t even seem to go back to the old app, it no longer connects. AVOID!

I am away from home a lot and use this app to turn my heating and water on/off remotely. I have never come across such poor design. It’s like software from the 1980’s You would think that such an established company would clean up there act and invest in up to date simple design. A simple holiday on/off switch would be great! This is absolutely not user friendly. I’ve had to chase the Nibe uplink support team several times through email…..although they’re quick to respond, answers come back in broken English and hard to understand instructions on how to use the app.

Installed this because the NIBE uplink system was being replaced . Absolute rubbish

This app is really poorly designed, hard to comprehend, and is overall not designed to be user friendly for the end user. On top of that, you’re expected to pay yearly to be able to use it properly through their Premium subscription, which gives you access to basic features such as managing the system remotely, which I would think is the whole point of the app. Most users will have spent significantly on installing the NIBE system already, so to have to pay to manage it remotely feels a bit much.

You need to pay for a subscription to use this??? Spending thousands on a heat pump isn’t enough? Shocking

The app is difficult to use and offers very little assistance to the end user trying to manage a NIBE heat pump. The menus are mystifying with an incomprehensible numbering system for which there may be some logic but, if so, it is entirely unclear to the user.

Limited functionality, clunky, unreliable - and they even have the audacity to charge for it after I’ve forked out well in excess of 10k for the heat pump
