Cannot pair glasses with phone

I have purchased a pair of VR glasses but the MYVU app is not allowing me to pair them saying that I should use the Mainland China App, which I cannot download since I don’t have a Chinese App Store. Please help me as I have a very important presentation coming up and I could really use the teleprompter function.
