MyZone3 Home

This app needs some serious love. It’s slow, clunky and ugly. I don’t like using it anymore. It’s ripe for modernising with shortcuts support and widgets. If you’re thinking about buying this system for your home a/c. Maybe do some more research in to other options. It works but nowhere near as well as you would like.

Absolutely useless app. If i had known how bad it was prior to purchasing the controller, i would have gone with a different brand. I will definitely not be recommending this to anyone.

This app for 2023 is pretty bad. Slow, won’t log in without wifi The zones change to open. Disappointed

App crashes frequently

The app is an embarrassment for MyZone3. The app regularly stops syncing with the MyZone3 system and displays incorrect information and doesn’t control the system, I.e it leads the customer to think that the changes they are making on the app (hotter, colder, etc) are being actioned, however they have absolutely no impact on the MyZone3 system. Come on MyZone3, take responsibility for this absolutely rubbish app and help your paying customers by providing something that actually works.

App constantly crashes, closes and will not reload. Slow to communicate with a/c system. Probably time for the developer to put some work into the app

This app is not good. It really lets the whole system down. You are unable to program favourites or schedules on the app. It is slow to respond and update information and shows pointless information like the flow rate in to a particular zone. Who needs to know this from their app? Hide airflow and put something more relevant in that place. The in-house tablet is also pretty poor. Aside from image retention on the screen. It has a poor layout that is cumbersome to navigate and slow to use. The system was also advertised as ifttt ready. Yet to see that offered.

This app needs to be brought into the 21st century and have many bugs fixed: - Modernise the GUI - data is very slow to refresh, with some room temps/selected inputs showing before others (as well as one connected app (phone) showing different data to another simultaneously connected app) - when accessing away from home, the app constantly says ‘login failed’ however then appears to sluggishly work (sometimes need to force close and reopen to confirm selection made has actually gone through) - the unit doesn’t always work as it should (eg. the unit keeps heating a couple of degrees past the set point even if it’s the only room on ‘climate’ and others set to ‘open’) - controlling zone option to be more easily selected (ie. automatic vs user selected) - get rid of all the unnecessary add ons (ie, irrigation/sound system etc), I can’t imagine anyone wanting to use this app over a sleek well designed product like Sonos / Hydrawise etc).

We’ll be lucky if they maintain this app once a year. App is totally unusable, crashes every time a change is made to any settings. Don’t waste your money on this system. Look elsewhere for a proper Zoning system. Very disappointed.
