I really like this program overall. The difficulty I experience is that there seems to be a lag time between the time I tune and the time it registers on the screen. This makes it difficult to know when I’ve actually tuned it properly and frequently I have to retune because the pitch is now too sharp. Also it could “listen” to the pitch a little longer.

Accurate easy-to-read tuning even when there's background noise. I spent a long time looking for the perfect tuner and am happy with this one. Request: Please make the app remember the view that was chosen the last time the app was used. Or provide an option to select a default view.

Not so much as a tuner, (which is fine), but for the excellent FFT! This is the best FFT for general use on iOS. I teach acoustics and I use this FFT for live demonstrations of the analysis of sound. The FFT graph is smooth and easy to use. “Seeing” noise, or the harmonic series of instruments is great regardless if you’re using an iPhone or an iPad Pro. Due to the high resolution of the iPad Pro display, screen captures as videos are high resolution too. If you’re looking for a simple FFT that looks great, download the free version and give it a shot.

I use this app to tune my viola and it works great. There are many different visual options for when you tune. I compared my viola to my piano (which is tuned) and it was on POINT!!!!

Looks great but some parts are unusable for me on an iPhone X because they are behind the notch.

If one is in need of a tuning mechanism, I can think of no application I could recommend more than this wondrous specimen of human technological musical tuning-based ingenuity. Truly, I am in awe of its majestic splendor. It is magnificent. I'm actually not kidding this is a great tuner.

This tuner is really on the money! The difference between this and others is it has several looks that give you options as to how you would like to view your results. I would recommend to any player who needs a quick, accurate device. Amazing a smart phone can do everything for you except wipe your arse! Enjoy!
