Falsely advertising dress not in stock
I have recently purchased a dress from them, paid £300+, was meant to be for a special occasion. Received an email few days after the purchase informing me that they no longer stock the dress that I have already paid for. The options given were to: (a) go for a size L (I am a size S), (b) go for a different colour, (c) get a refund. I am quite shocked how a company as large as this can screw up their e-commerce stock system so bad that I am being informed of stock availability after making the payment. I am not happy with a refund either because the dress was meant for a special occasion and it’s already late to start the whole process. I really hope anyone reading this is made aware of the risk of relying on this company, especially if you are purchasing something for a special event. Top tip: instead of building an app, train your employees to use the existing e-commerce platform correctly so that no one has to spend 10 mins writing a negative review.
