Nearby Device Detector: Trova

Does not provide any functionality that you cannot get for free with open source tools. And the awesome “hold your results hostage until you upgrade your plan” business model is infuriating at best. Don’t waste your time and money.

The tool determined that there are 4 suspicious items nearby, but doesn’t tell me what they are. Is that the point? How can I act on the information if the tool hadn’t provided any. Don’t do it!

This do not work just show random dots never detect a device that actually makes a Wi-Fi signal of any type

It will only scan. To see results asks to purchase a plan… not what expected. Scared to pay as not sure if it will deliver

Can’t find where the suspicious items are. Click- no details given as to what it is. Is it a bug? Tracker? Not trusted WiFi? Useless app

Badly made money grabbing fake. If you want me to trust the app and want to pay for it, ESPECIALLY A RECURRING SUBSCRIPTION, at least let me use it to the fullest capability for a week. I ran it at my house and it showed one green dot and about 26 “suspicious” devices even though I only have 11 devices connected to my network and they are all fully identified on my router.

I’ll pay for the app once, (maybe 4.99) but I will not pay a reoccurring, (weekly, monthly or annually) for an app.
