Nelson App

App is good, but as it is council app, I was expecting the information about rubbish and recycling bin collections updates as well. Will give 5 star if they add that too according to the area. Thanks

Whenever there is a breaking local story I rely on this app for up to date information. If I could give it more than 5 stars i would!

I’ve found the update frustrating. Events opens nothing. Too many ads, but I do understand you need to make it pay. Articles from Nick Smith about gangs. It’s just one side of the story and is bias. I work for the police and his stats are appalling and just promote divide. Only one gun from a gang. This is spreading false news and I will be raising and reporting this. You should check facts before you publish anything. This was a useful app and I suggest keeping it positive and don’t provoke.

Do not download this app unless you want to be alerted every time someone dies in a freak accident. This app could be a wonderful tool for the community, however they are using it poorly. Rather than notify people of traffic jams or upcoming events, they send negative drama that is useless apart from making people sad. After so many depressing push notifications, it’s time to delete...

Overall it’s a good app but that horizontal scrolling in the news article makes it virtually impossible to scroll up and down. Also, it would be great to remember the current section/position in the app and return to that place if you left the app and then came back after a second or five ;) currently it redirects to the front page which is painful.
