I can't overstate how much I love this app and the accompanying hardware. I have 10 motorized blindster blinds around my house and wanted to find a way for years to control them on schedules instead of the terrible RF remotes. This app works really well and I commend the developers for their work. If you add widget support I would be over the moon. My smart garage door and lights have widgets which really bring them to the next level, and if you can add a way to put a few blinds in a widget that would make it even easier to open and close blinds on demand. The Google home integration works for now but sometimes I don't want to, or can't speak commands. Thanks devs, you did a great job on this app.
I have been in touch with an excellent technical expert from NeoSmart Blinds (NSB) who provided a thorough and detailed assistance in the programming of one of my shades in the living room of our house. I got the new shade as a replacement for the one whose motor broke about 3 years ago. After I received the new shade, I called NSB technical support and fortunately Khalil picked up my call. He helped me pair the new shade with the remote controller and program the new shade to operate in unison with the other 4 old shades in our living room. Many thanks to Khalil, the 5 shades now close and open all simultaneously at the scheduled times. Khalil was great at telling me detailed instructions over the phone, especially since the NSB app is not exactly very user friendly. He stayed with me the whole time on the phone and never once did he show any irritation with my many questions. He has a gentle and reassuring voice and has excellent telephone manners. Khalil has amazing listening skills and overall customer service skills. What I appreciate most about Khalil is his detailed knowledge of the hardware (the shade), as well as the software app and was able to direct me to the correct screens of the app. Khalil is a great asset to the company and a delight to work with as a technical support person!
This app and the controller to go along with it are the best combo out there for your motorized blinds by far! I am not paid to say this and I was not given any free products, but I can say this is the one. I purchased my blinds from select blinds and noticed that they were selling a controller that looked just like the Neo controller and sure enough when I bought this one from amazon it was an exact match but WAYY cheaper! It allowed me to put all of my blinds that I ordered on Google home and most recently on Apple Home now that the beta has been released with Matter support. I can now control them no matter when device I’m using and I’m not stuck to only the usual amazon or google ecosystems!
All neo smart blind shortcut suddenly doesn’t work on any of my Apple devices, it says unknown error
The application works well and has no real issues. Blinds work well and works with Siri Shortcuts. The in app settings don’t allow to update or change the account email, but I contacted customer support via email and they responded and helped within 24 hours.
My wife recently purchased new blinds for our bedroom and I could not get them to pair with the hub. I reached out to support and they responded quickly. They helped me pair the new blinds. Now with the automation we can close/open all 3 blinds with a single command. Again, support was awesome.
Love our blinds - have for many years. Needed assistance to reset account login credentials and was impressed with rapid response and professional exchange.
Thank you Shawn for your help with my shades. Shawn helped me reprogram my one shade that wasn’t working and two shades that needed readjusting. He was very patient and took time to make sure I fixed all of my shades.
I had a great deal of difficulty setting up Neo smart blinds controller(You need 2.4GH Wifi. I had to turn off the 5GH wifi in my Orbi). Shawn Marosek was very patient and walked me through all the way to set it up finally. I sincerely appreciated the support and help! Best customer support in the recent years and a great product!!
