This app gets zero stars from me it started off amazing via the app since for many years, however very recently gone downhill massively, not many staff members to help in Customer Service now those Maurillo buthe’s never at his desk constantly says he’s away (two hours away 30 minutes away) but never responds i’ve even tried emailing in and sending a tweet but no response. I’ve been having problems now with one of my cameras where it just won’t connect to my network and I need assistance however nobody here to assist me. I pay for the service so I’m quite annoyed that nobody are here to help. I will be leaving very soon if I don’t hear from them in the next 24 hours I will cancel my subscription and go to Tapo you seem to have a way better Custumer Service.
What’s the point in recording only 12 seconds of activity to the memory card, it misses so much content it’s ridiculous. Can I see myself pulling onto the drive? Nope one minute my cars not on the drive then it is. Ridiculous.
Camera is a good price and suitable for home use, however the application hangs when it tries to connect, even when using on the same WiFi. Removing a camera from the app causes it to hang so you need to quit and start again. This application comes with no human support, only a bot that gives unhelpful links and any requests for support in the chat facility are ignored.
Having purchased the Neos Camera, I attempted to set up the app and followed the instructions on the app and enclosed leaflet with the camera. It has failed to connect and my attempt at contacting NEOS was a waste of time. Save yourself the bother and get a better known brand with actual support and working products.
It took a lot of attempts for the camera to actually connect, in the end I had to go within a metre of the router for it to connect, then when I moved the phone 2 metres away from the camera it lost connection!! And the recording is hit and miss. And there is no way to do 2 way talking despite being being advertised. Not impressed at all.
I have had the cameras for 2yrs, detection is very hit and miss, when it works it’s a great price of kit, however, it rarely ever works.
Been using neos for about six years and the service gets a little bit worse year on year. It is now to the point where even with perfect wifi it is an unreliable way for remote monitoring. Avoid this product
Useless
I bought this several years ago and used the unpaid version. Three days ago I decided to upgrade and try out the paid version with longer clip recording etc… Since upgrading my camera has STOPPED recording. I have no recordings for the last three days. And as of this review it is still not recording. I have contacted Neos THREE TIMES on the app: no response at all. I contacted them via their website today and I am still awaiting a response. I did discover via the website that Neos products no longer exist! However they will continue to support existing customers. Yeah, right! Absolutely dreadful customer service. I have cancelled my subscription and ideally would like my money refunded but have no idea how to do this.
