Net Nanny Child is the child companion App that is designed to work in conjunction with the Net Nanny Parental Control. The App is to be installed on each child device that a parent wishes to connect with and cannot be setup or used until an account has been created by installing and setting up the Net Nanny Parental Control App.

This App will provide the enforcement of the features managed and established in the Net Nanny Parental Control App on your iOS device after installing and initializing this App. As part of the enforcement, the Net Nanny Child App uses a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to facilitate analysis of Internet traffic for the purpose of blocking and/or warning about inappropriate content. Blocked web page URLs, page titles and search terms are collected and can only be viewed in the Net Nanny Parental Control app by the subscriber who has downloaded and authorized the use of the Net Nanny Child app. In addition, anonymized data may be collected (not in a manner that would identify individuals personally) so Net Nanny can perform analysis and make improvements.

Continued use of GPS running in the background provides location tracking for parents but can dramatically decrease battery life.

Horrible

Slows down device. Thats an understatement..... my sons device doesn’t even work when we have this installed...

does not work

after installation when using apps it says now internet. this might be the certificate not renewed as mentioned in the last review or two

Doesn’t Work on iPhone Anymore

This app doesn’t work. Won’t install on the iPhone. Apparently an issue with the security certificate with Apple expired. Last update was two years ago.

No longer working on IOS

I was having issues with the app and tried reinstalling it. It now freezes at the MDM/VPN connection and can’t finish installing. The app hasn’t been updated in 2 years and now no longer functions.

Hello! My Parents Have Installed This App For Me (Because I’m Not Legally 18 Yet) , But This App Has Helped With A Lot Of It’s Quick Features. But However… This App Has Still A Few Issues. Here Are Some Of Them! 1. This App Signs Me Out Most Of The Time Whenever I Log Out, Making It Hard To Use It Consistently. 2. This App Often Makes The Internet Worse, AND Slower. Which Is The Reason Why I’m Not Able To Use YouTube. ): 3. Not great

Service support was like talking to a wall, it cuts out the internet for apps such as gps, safari, amazon no internet. 2 stars cause they have a no hassle refund policy.

You can do better

This app certainly does its job but at the same time it also makes whatever device you put it on nearly unusable, the last update came out in 2022 so the app isn’t receiving maintenance anymore either, overall I would recommend a different device management application or just take the kid’s device away completely and not bother with putting this app on it

It needs fixing

It does block some apps for getting internet. The app keep getting no internet. My kids don’t like and me too. I’ve already bought for a year. I don’t recommend it.

So difficult

I consider myself a pretty tech-savvy person, and this is the first time any app has left me so utterly frustrated. one of the most difficult and non-intuitive set up. I give up

Don’t get the app

So one day I looked up something for Minecraft and it said some of the results are RESTRICTED like seriously it’s Minecraft this game is for kids don’t BLOCK IT and another time I looked up Star Wars and I thought it’s should be fine but then it said this is RESTRICTED it might be bad for your age ITS FLIPPING STAR WARS. THATS WHY I GAVE IT 1 STAR PLEASE GET THIS APP TAKEN DOWN thank you.
