This app is a VPN and proxy client for the NetShade service. Fast and easy to use. Access the world's content through some of the best VPN and proxy servers available. Route your Internet connection through another server to change your IP address. Visit websites from different parts of the world, and protect your privacy online. Using VPN and proxy servers allows you to access overseas web content while traveling. It also helps protect your privacy and anonymity by masking your IP address from the sites you visit. Optional VPN enables strong encryption of all your network traffic, to secure your activity from prying eyes on the network. Subscribers can access all of NetShade's fast, secure proxy and VPN servers around the world. Choose to use a proxy when you need a quick, reliable proxy-backed web connection, or use VPN when you require maximum security.

UK server missing
I have tried to connect to the UK server but it is no longer available so no use to me half way through my subscription. I am very disappointed
No Uk VPN
What’s the point of having this App when no VPN for the Uk is provided. This App used to work ok but I won’t be renewing this year unless the service is better. Complete frustration.
Stability problems in new version
I’m having problems with version 8 in iOS maintaining connections compared with previous versions. VPN connections (at least to uk servers) are dropping every 20-30 minutes, and a manual reconnection is needed. Very disruptive for streaming server use.
Pretty poor
This app hasn’t been updated for 3 years! That says to the world that the company that makes this no longer has any interest in it. Not only does this app lose the VPN connection every time you switch the display off for more than 2 minutes, leaving your IP address exposed when you next use the device - which easily goes unspotted - but now there’s only one UK server left, and I can’t access that via the iOS app! Absolutely the worst of all VPNs I’ve had a go on, certainly wouldn’t pay their full rate for it. Thankfully a software bundle got this user a 2-year subscription very cheap, but with the obvious neglect going on re app and servers I doubt whether NetShade will exist in 6 months, let alone 2 years. Avoid.
Simple doesn’t work for iOS
Confusing software that doesn’t work on my iPad or phone. Waste of money for the subscription and have given up on it.
Not enough servers & slow
Netshade has lost its use for me, despite a fully paid annual subscription for they proxy server: The country list has shrunk to a drizzle. Germany is suddenly gone, which was my main reason for using Netshade. Eecent slowness was also noted and useless for streaming. Pretty lame over all.
Not free at all
The app is free but to use it on iOS you pay 9USD for a 10 day trial.
