I read this app daily. Not only for the Israeli news but also for world events including the U.S. I have seen US stories covered on this app before they are in the US news. This is my number one source

Especially with what is happening in and around Israel, it is important to have reliable news sources. Newsrael might be, but the app is atrocious and misleading. A minor issue is that the photo shown with the story is not correct. They will have an article about Netanyahu but the photo is from another story, say Sinwar instead. But worse and unforgivable is that there will be “new” stories (along with alert notifications” of stories months old. It can be dangerous. Today it was posted that Israel was attacking Iran, something they did months ago, not now (December 2024).

This app was informative at first, but the ads on the app that pop up first can’t be removed and the app has become a real waste of my time.

This site is the best “go to” for up to date / ongoing Isreal related news. Fair and succinct.

I have been using the app for over 1-year. Excellent selection of current news briefs. Occasionally a few longer in depth informative articles. Lots of news photos and videos. If you are interested in news coverage for Israel this is the app to have.
