Lots of potential but far too buggy
I am a huge fan of newstalk radio and like to tune in when I am walking about going from from A to B. Until now I had used the TuneIn app. When I saw there was a newstalk app I was very excited as the UI looked nice and slick. Sadly that feeling dissolved into anger and frustration. First off the app starts playing the station as soon as you launch which is a tad annoying before I have even made my selection. The app is prone to crashing a lot. The player controls have very small tap area. Dragging to a specific part of a podcast is almost impossible and super buggy. I mainly wanted to listen to the Off the Ball podcasts and the option to download them seemed great but is once again super buggy and crashes the app. Even when you do complete the download you might as well be streaming as I could not listen to the download offline. Finally as you go deeper into the architecture of the app a back button appears right beside the curtain nav leading to constant misclicks. This app could be great if they fix the bugs but right now its not a great app.
