Nexar Classic

I’ve had Nexar for 6 years but every once in a while, it will not allow my phone to connect to my dash cam it states no Internet connection when there is a good connection can you please update this feature to fix the issue so I can connect my phone to my dash cam I rely on my dash cam because I do Uber and Lyft I currently have the Nexar Pro.

Only problem I’m having with the dash cam is it’s continuously recording during parking mode even when I’m not in the car or anything is interacting with my car I have the Nexar one and wanted to know if there’s anyway of fixing that so it doesn’t drain my car battery! Thank you!!

Since the last two recent updates. The nexar app doesn’t open, it keeps force closing, please fix this ASAP. I didn’t just pay over 100 bucks to have a dash cam that doesn’t work.

Yesterday, I discovered that the camera was not uploading or saving videos to the memory card. For at least two months. This is the last straw with Nexar; I will try my luck with a different brand.

Over all I like the camera, there are only two things that I dislike. Why can’t I see the inside camera on the live view. Why can’t I watch the live view longer then 2 minutes at a time.

I have had this dash cam now for almost two years, and for the most part, its been great. Recordings are outstanding quality and it works flawlessly without the need of any intervention on my part. However, the App and it’s WiFi connectivity needs work. Until around January 2024, everything worked fine. Even when my iPhone was connected to the camera for streaming the video, I could still get a WiFi signal to my iPhone to use other Apps, most notably, my mapping/navigation Apps. This changed around January apparently with one of the updates. Now when running my dash cam, my iPhone NavigationApp (or any other App for that matter) will not connect to WiFi, so my navigation App is not connected and uses only the map data stored on my iPhone, where as before, I was getting “real time” updates as I drove along. There are a fair number of occasions when my Navigation App, e.g., Google Maps, cannot connect at all and thus will not work at all. This is a very inconvenient change in functionality that I hope is addressed soon.

Been using the cam for 1.5 years and very recently no matter what I try, the app will not load videos or locate the gps signal, tried redownloading and now I can’t receive a code to log back in.

Let me start out by saying the old app works wonder and Nexar dashcams are great. When Nexar overhauled the app to revolve around the new Nexar One dashcam , it wiped out all previous camera profiles, such as Beam and Scosche. Now when I try to re-add them to the new app, it stalls at the “looking for camera” phase. My Beam camera still records to the microSD card, but I have to retrieve the footage through a computer. My Scosche, unfortunately is useless as it relies on my phone for storage. The new app effectively renders older Nexar cameras useless.

Hello, I live in Iraq. When I type my number that begins with +964, I do not receive the code message?

They can’t seem to fix this app to stop draining phone battery. It requires for you to have location on Always, but if you do it it basically drains your battery the entire day whether you’re in the car on not. I contacted the app developer like a year about it and they keep saying they’re working on it. Meanwhile the dash cam is useless.
