This has to be the number 1 most confusing app with regards to turning an alarm on and off. There are so many caveats as to when the alarm will and will not play that every night it’s a gamble as to whether alarm will go off or not! Despite the option to set notifications when the alarm is off, AND the option to set it to “activated all the time”, you still can’t guarantee that it will go off. I’ve had the alarm set and saying “activated” multiple times now but it’s failed to go off. With regards to the settings around playing podcasts, this is the only decent app on the market. The option to play only unheard episodes is surprisingly missing from other podcast apps. In addition, it is one of the only apps to offer the option to play the oldest episodes first. For this reason, this is still the best podcast alarm clock in the App Store. Just need to make sure you set a back up alarm in another, more reliable app as this one is temperamental.

I did a test alarm, the alarm sounded like a broken record and didn’t turn on my podcast. When I went to retest I was told I’ve used up my trial period and had to pay 🙄 (written was 5 alarms and only one was used and didn’t work) will be trying a different app

I DO NOT recommend this app! Constant horrible sounds that cannot be deactivated such as an only telephone or a car horn play constantly throughout the podcast. No sound level setting for “background sound” no option to turn it off, it makes the app completely worthless.

I have an iPhone we 2020 that already has a fairly small battery life, but this app drains 60% of my battery overnight (7hrs). That’s a no go.

I tried couple of weeks but it never worked once. At first it made sounds but not the podcast I set. Later it even just no sounds at all. I had thought it might because I used free version so I paid for the advanced version but nothing changed.
