This product and app worked fine for about a year but lately it has not been recording videos like it is supposed to and when it does record a video it says it is unable to play the video back. I’ve spent hours online/on the phone with customer service and all they’ve been able to offer me is resetting the device, rebooting my WiFi, and deleting the app and reinstalling. I’d look elsewhere for a reliable camera

Ever since the update I can’t zoom in to watch the videos captured or they freeze. Bad update.

Clicking through settings on cameras is a bit slow to load. But other than that app works fine. It’s not my internet service that is slow. It’s the app. No it’s not my iPhone, I never even have 5 apps running at once

We have had this setup for a while now and never had any issues at all until now . Any access any cameras it says it has to be deleted and traded but I can’t find anywhere to remove it from the app to re add it . No proper instructions on how to solve this issue

I bought the cameras and i can create an account to Watch the cameras!! How is that? I have never owned the cameras let alone the app, and it says i cant log in because my phone number or my email already has an account! When i have never made an account with them! I spent alot of money no these cameras for me not even be able to see them! I need help asap!

The app never works.

Absolutely the worst customer service and products. To call it customer service would be like calling the Grim Reaper a nice guy The IT in this company has released released technologically flawed products. Worse yet they don’t even come with an info guide, just ridiculous videos you must watch online that will not solve your problem no database or anything you can search for articles, not anything just the unhelpful videos. When you finally do the digging and get a phone number you will be very disappointed. The person you speak to on the other end is going to treat you like absolute human garbage. They’re gonna treat you like what their products are absolute garbage. I got screamed at about how I’m the problem and that their home security cameras and home security will DVR but not work together with the doorbell. there is no subscription service and I see why because as soon as you waste your money on this, you’re on your own realizing the money you’ve just wasted. Even WORSE YET: They will and do willing lie to you. I was promised a replacement doorbell by their customer service on the phone weeks ago and did exactly as they said uploaded my proof of purchase and address and I’ve received neither an email nor the product in the mail. so I emailed them back and I’ve gotten no response again. I’ve been in contact through email with them for months. They are terrible people. DO NOT EVER BUY NIGHT OWL PRODUCTS! …EVER! You have been warned about these horrible humans and their worse products and customer service, actually lack thereof because like I said before, if you get a human on the phone line, you’re gonna wish you didn’t because they will scream at you and blame you and scream some more, then they will laugh at you and you will not get your money back, you will not get a product replacement and you will not receive any sort of help if you were having an issue. They won something from me though, The Worst Garbage Products and People Ever Award! Seriously don’t buy this junk, you’re going to hate it and regret it and there’s nothing you’ll be able to do. The products and app and especially the workers are complete rubbish.

It works fine and loads fast. The new update problem is the screen freezes when you zoom in.

I tried connecting my camera to the app but it keeps saying it’s been connected before and I have to remove it from my device list but it’s not even there. How do I fix this problem

I currently have only 1 Night Owl camera (a standalone WiFi cam) and so far so good! Trial running one camera to test usability/resolution before I invest into an entire PoE system 🙂. One suggestion that I’d love to see implemented somehow (if possible) with standalone cameras that store recordings via micro SD card; a way to delete individual recordings via the app without having to reformat the entire micro SD? Thanks ☺️
