Nine Mail - Email & Calendar

Recommended Nine as our ITSec liked the extra password layer to open the inbox etc. everything worked like a dream until it expired the trial - cannot pay for the subscription for 3., 6 or lifetime , the whole process just hangs and doesn’t progress. No rendered unable to use the tool - grossly disappointed

Why does it have to cost???? Almost the only mail app compatible with my iPhone, it then says it costs!!

They are still happy to take your money but with no development, nine no longer works on a iPad. Now it is is very flaky on my iPhone and push notifications have stopped working. It is a shame as this app was the only one to show email categories for exchange. Now deleted as not fit for purpose!

Used to work great but now just freezes up as Nine have stopped maintaining this app Now I need to look for another none cloud app that is client side only.

Was working well until I reinstalled, after I reset my device and reinstalled the application freezes at set-up and will not work so useless for me.

On first look, the application seems good and the features / UI well thought out. However, in daily use you soon realize there are a lot of little bugs and irritate you and the application is rarely updated ( over 6 months between updates ) so the issues aren’t addressed. Cancelled my subscription and moved to Spark.

But today... is freeze my iPad Pro 11 and my mind every day. I don’t like a Microsoft’s app. I will be must love outlook.

Nine for iOS really struggles use Outlook accounts that have 2FA or Authenticator app security enabled. Also seems to struggle with multiple Outlook accounts. Nine throws up a network error. Disappointing. I’ve persevered however - managed to get multiple accounts working - and despite the notifications being slow to arrive, I really like the app - it's the only email client for iOS that supports native ActiveSync so no need for emails to be stored on third party servers. I hope that the developer fixes the bugs and gives the app the needed development time. This could be an amazing and platform leading app.

I recently had an issue where all of my categories were not appearing in app, and when I queried it, I had a response and fix in 2 days. And over the Christmas period. Amazing!

I've been using this app since nearly a week now and I must say I'm quite impressed. I've decided to look for another app than Apple Mail since I bought an Apple Watch and realised some push notifications were delivered quietly (no sound or haptic) with some subfolders. Never understood why and can't find a solution online. I tried everything to fix it including 2 restores, no luck. Even Apple has no clue about it and could not help me. Some users said they were recommending Nine on Reddit and it was good for push notifications. Since I've been using it it's fixed my problem completely and I'm now getting all the push notifications for all the subfolders I need to be notified on. It comes with an impressive amount of features and even it's not free, I don't mind paying for a good app. Yes it could come with some improvements, I've sent a list of suggested features to support, don't know if it will ever be considered but I hope some of them will. It really could be the BEST mail app. I especially love the Unread Mail category which groups all your unread emails. Saves time if you have a lot of subfolders & rules like me. One annoying thing is, I get "FOLDER is up to date" type notifications every now and then. It's only a few times a day so it doesn't bother me too much but I think it's a shame we don't have the option to turn that off. Despite what the other users have said, I haven't experienced a single crash on iOS 13 iPhone XR. Really hope stability is gonna last and regular updates with nice bunch of new features will keep coming.
