Ninox

I'm just warming up with this but it looks very promising!

It seems I’m now logged out after this update, and login buttons in two places in the app do nothing, as if the buttons aren’t touched. So I can’t login anymore, and I only see old data.

No way to change the font size?! Stopped me right there.

Has become totally useless since the latest upgrade. Pisses me off. I can’t even get into individual records to edit them. Now I just have to find a way to extract my data so I don’t lose it all. There is no reason to turn something simple into a product that tries to do it all. At least leave the basic option for those of us who only want to use it for that specific task.

The app on Mac is great, but I can’t work with this app! It crashes a lot. It is so annoying and waist of time.

Crashed 3 times in the first 5 minutes as I created some sample databases. Deleting now. No way I’m running a business on this.

Depuis qu’Apple a arrêté de développer sa petite base de donnée abordable, on se sent un peu orphelin pour compléter Pages, Number et Keynote. Quelques rares choix existent, mais après avoir fait le tour de la question, essayé des versions démo, mon choix s’est porté l’an passé sur Ninox qui offre un produit assez complet, et surtout, qui est disponible à la fois sur iOS mais également sur MacOS. Les mises-à-jour apportent leurs lots de nouveautés, ce qui est toujours apprécié. Bien sûr, il faut avoir des connaissances pour développer ses propres bases adaptées à ses besoins, mais l’application est assez intuitive et stable.

Easy to use and very flexible. If you have some database experience you will be surprised at how much you can do. Drag and drop "coding" or write it with Ninox JavaScript. Support is excellent with lots of examples in the forum. Documentation and forum searching could be a little better but the odds are good you will find what you need from plenty of code snippets and sample databases. I'd like a little more design flexibility with forms but hopefully that will be coming soon. The layout options for printing are excellent. If you need a "mobile" database this is a great choice.

When I first used Ninox I found the product to be perfect. Even bought the paid version and thought it showed great potential even tough some of the features were sluggish. But now, I am SO disappointed with the business model. I was so glad for the new features like the API that I hoped we would have since I code a lot on my iPad. But to my surprise all the great new features in this version is only available through the cloud version!!! And of course, the cloud version cost an almost 40$ a month!!! So even though I have several databases and that I loved using Ninox (which I have on my iPhone, iPad and Mac) I immediately deleted the app from my devices. ****** Soooo disappointing!!!!
