Non-Euclidean Minesweeper

Nice to help understand hyperbolic geometry, but the presentation is lacking. It zooms in too much on a cell. would prefer a larger FOV. Also what do ‘S’ and ‘P’ stand for? I have no clue. I’m probably going to uninstall it later and play regular minesweeper instead.

Really great and if you’re into hyperbolic geometry, it has {5,4} and {7,3} tilings. Would love to see more variations too, such as triangles.

Basically just minesweeper with hexagon tiles but you can’t see the whole board . It’s fun but you are better off just playing regular minesweeper; the gimmick distracts from the gameplay instead of adding to it.

Amazing best game ever

This app is incredible and very addictive! Only thing I'd want is more tilings! Triangles are oddly missing. I think they could be a great addition! Also, they would probably be very easy to solve, but maybe some spherical tilings would be interesting?

itd be cool if there was 3-gons and possibly 8-20-gons and itd be really cool if u could choose how many gons there were per corner because it would just make sense if you couldve. please update? also the app icon is still wrong >.>

Fine game, but it gets old quickly. Also, the logo is wrong. But its well done, and you should make more!

Minesweeper is a fun game to pass time, and having this version on a hyper plane makes it interesting and different. The one missing feature I’d request is a setting to turn off the sound effects. Thanks for building this!

I love that there’s a new hyperbolic game out there! Mine sweeper is a great way of introducing people to hyperbolic space. The interface works really well. The Möbius transforms are really smooth and there isn’t too much momentum in them. I’m sad that you got rid of the hard level. Now it only takes ~ 1-2 minutes to finish each “hard” game. Would it be possible too add in expert and super expert levels with around 60 and 100 mines, respectively? A separate suggestion would be to offer different tilings to play with the combinatorics of vertices, which might make it more fun and challenging even at the simpler levels.
