I have never been so upset dealing with a company as I am dealing with ADT. I have called for help, gotten hung up on disrespected, been put on hold for a long time , put on a call back and never been called back. I want to cancel my service and haven’t even been able to do that. As for your star rating I rate you 0.

Totally unreliable! Cameras drop offline periodically for no apparent reason. Cameras often do not detect segments of motion. SCAM! After changing internet service, the garage camera/sensor is completely inoperable and requires a service call to “fix it” at a required fee of $150 to $200.

Never anyone to chat. Call. Takes forever for someone to answer. Email no one responds back. Problems no one ever follows up. Waiting two years now and my video doorbell still not fixed. Still paying for a service that doesn’t work. 5 year contract can’t get out of unless I pay to get out. There is NOTHING good about this worthless company. Stay away they do not honor their product

This system is worthless! Multiple sensor low battery alerts even after changing the battery! The hallway fire alarm chirps even after changing the batteries!

Do not get the smoke an CO detector. Constantly changing battery’s and the battery’s are extremely expensive. Then it stopped working and put all kinds of alarms constantly going off and you can not bypass the smoke and CO detectors.

Recently bought out by ADT and still flakey customer service and poor quality equipment

Consistently having to reinstall the security cameras. Lack of connection, even though internet is strong. Doorbell barely works and is delayed on notification.

The app is good but is too slow when I try to Arm or disarm the alarm.

The way I was locked on a contract then extended was sneaky, I was told my front camera was not working because it was old and outdated. North Star offered to replace it with a new camera at no cost and extended my contract without telling me about it, and now my whole system cameras, window sensors and control screen are failing. But I will not even call them because I do not want new equipment, because even though they should provide a service I am being charged for monthly by law, I do not want to be in another lengthy contract. I am over the terrible equipment not working
