Note To Self Mail

So many good things about this app. I used to use another app that was similar all the time but it disappeared from the App Store. I downloaded all tbe similar apps and they all had pretty major issues (like spamming their name all over the email!) but all of them tripped if the network was down or you were in Flight Mode. I put my phone in Flight Mode every night so that was a deal-breaker. Not only does this app cope fine, it’s able to do way more than any of the other apps! There’s just so much thought and “polish” that’s been put into it this app. Tip: you can set it not to repeat the first line of a note in the body (so the first line is only used for the Subject) by tapping the item under “Send To” in the settings.

Update 9/2023: This app is a huge part of my business and personal life. I use it all the time for sending quick to-dos, reminders and notes. It is always reliable and super easy to use. I thought it was time to update my review since I’ve been using this app for many, many years. I use this app dozens of times a day. It’s a must-have. It’s simple and works quickly, and supports multiple email destinations with a long press of the “send” button.

No similar app is as clean and customizable. And the developer after all these years is still making thoughtful improvements and adding more features!

If you want a button you can click on your phone to quickly send yourself a note to your email, quickly and with no fuss, this is it. There are competitors but this is a great free app that beats some of the paid ones!

I was using another mail to self app and getting an email was hit or miss, the app was not reliable at all. This app works great, it has been fast and 100% reliable. This app is laid out well and is simple to use. My thanks to the developer for a very useful app that works well. Job well done!

No support for even the most basic functions and fixes that shouldn’t even need me to reach out for support, but when I do, it’s ignored. Disrespectful.

Spot-on solution to a common problem

This app is one of the most useful ones on my iPhone. I can’t tell you how often I want to send myself a link, or an image, or an article, and just sharing via Note to Self sends it straight to my email inbox. No copying and pasting links, and no typing in my email required! I am an evangelist for this app.
