NotePlan - To-Do List & Notes

Hey, this is a very good management app but could you look into below - a) the notification in phone is very poor in design. user need to see the title of action very big. Currently “new task” is much bold. It doesn’t help distinguish task alertss - this is major drawback and I depend on apple calendar notifications instead of yours b) the folding feature works very differently across web, phone and mac c) monthly and quarterly is something which is great but missing from web version (I occasionally open it from my office laptop so I need it) d) many people would love to use it for both personal and work. in a corporate setup, I am afraid that my person stuff may appear by mistake. how about two separate instance that can be switched between. a max of 2-3 is good enough. 2 is sufficient

Noteplan is THE app for task management. Every other TODO app wants you to do things their way. Noteplan is the only app which lets users have enough freedom to do the things their way without compromising on core functionality. Kudos to devs.

I have an obsession with to-do apps and note taking apps. I have tried Omnifocus, Todoist, Ticktick, Obsidian, Apple notes, Craft, Evernote,Upnotes, Sorted^3 etc etc. Ultimately I had settled with Sorted^3 with Apple notes. But then I had to juggle between 2 apps. Have been trying Noteplan since past 1 week and liked it for 1. There is iOS app which is good. iphone and iPad are the devices I have with me most of the time , not Mac 2. Notes are stored locally - We can use icloud to sync. Very fast and trouble free as of now for me. Works offline 3. Linking and back linking notes. I have just started noticing the convenience of this feature. I need a PDF file at only once place. 4. Day notes serves well as journal. There are more worth mentioning but as of now this app is what i have been looking for all this time. Thanks to the developers Request to developers 1. We should be able to create a task in day notes using Siri 2. Rearrange the tasks or dragging a task to a date in ios is not very easy. - there should be a way

Excellent concept and implementation. Very good community discussion and grown towards new features. Combination of notes , project notes and CALENDER Notes, task links… .perfect combination and clean implementation

Very simply designed app unlike most out there, but extremely powerful to plan your day, take notes, and link your calendar and reminders together. Would definitely recommend.

What an excellent app. Use it like a journal, diary, writing, linking etc.

As a graphic artist and a bit of a scatter-brain, NotePlan provides a spot for everything. I use the PARA Method for folders and then everything gets sorted that way. The automated templates for pages is an excellent addition too. It takes the guesswork out of my daily to-do list. Sending links and bits of text into NotePlan to remember for action items later from other apps has become more and more useful as well as being able to hashtag them for later search. Notes (especially meeting notes) are all able to live as events on a calendar. Incredible integration. All in all, NotePlan is now a necessary component of my workflow.

When I started using this and didn’t like it, I cancelled right away. So I went to their report a problem section since that’s where you request a refund. And I was denied. I explained that I didn’t use the product and was denied again. I then emailed the company, and they told me that they have no control since it was purchased through the App Store. So I spent well over $100 for nothing.

So many tools. So many apps. I’ve tried a LOT!!! Nothing is as simple, elegant, fast, and flexible like NotePlan. I try others. I shake my head and reopen NotePlan. I love that the database of notes is just a folder of markdown files. It makes my entire library so easy to use and manage and there’s not an ounce of lockin. But I don’t need anything else. This app is amazing. Thank you 🙏
