I bought the whole package of apps for the reason of scrivener sync. But as many others appears to have experienced the syncing with scrivener or rather trying will leave you with nothing but frustrations. Standing alone the app is great but for those who seeks it for scrivener compability its useless

This app has all elements you need for taking your notes. First class to draw and to text. And above this there is also a wide range of extras. I am very satisfied. Thank you! Per

Let me just begin with saying that if you are coming from goodnotes 5 or noteability looking for an app that combines these two together you will be hugely disappointed. There are tons of stuff that this apps offer, but that is just it. It is as if someone has just slapped features after features into this app without thinking twice about how user/friendly they are, how practical they are or how stable they are. Sure it looks nice from their screenshots of the app *which looks very clean and looks as if to be a upgrade to Goodnotes) and looking at its very expensive price, you can expect anything but top of the line performance. If you are familiar with Goodnotes 5, that app is very stable, user-friendly and offers a smooth handwriting experience, very polished to say the least. Now Notes writer pro offers lower latency, in fact I believe it uses apple’s own engine which offers the lowest latency ever. But that’s just it. A Pen Note as it’s called will give you access to the apps own build in pens, strokes and settings. And here the plus thing, it offers 5 colors instead of 3 that goodnotes 5 offers, which is very useful. But jesus christ the writing experience is horrible. Much lower latency sure, the there are many random stoke bugs which happen very often. Just try the free version of this app, go to Pen notes, and just do bunch of dots. You’ll see how it fails to form filled in circles or create a normal dot. Same bug happens with pen strokes. Let’s say you write suddenly a couple of seconds later some part of what you wrote will randomly re-render with this bug. And let’s not start with using the eraser. Every time you choose it the whole note will freeze for 0.5 second and the screen will flicker, and the eraser only erases pixels note whole strokes (there is no option!). Changing templates is a nightmare as well. There are ALOT of option but for some odd reason you can change them by 2 ways that don’t even give the same templates. Then there is Sketch notes. Here supposedly you will get a replica of apple’s own Apple’s notes for taking pen notes. The difference here is that you will get to use apple’s own pen’s, but you are allowed to zoom! Awesome right? No... the strokes are so pixelated that they look washed out and pixelated even when you zoom out as much as you can. A little zoomed in it becomes to painfully pixelated and you can see individual group of pixels snapping together (sort of like slow motion) to form a stoke. This was supposed to b

It promises ease of use but doesn’t deliver on the promise. The home page lists areas that group files including cloud files but not everything I’ve sent to files has made it to there. Each time I manage to get a file on the Noteswriter page I save it as a new version. I’ve actually lost work when I thought I saved it. The user’s manual must have written for the beta version. When I figure out how to do something the process has nothing to do with the manual or isn’t there at all. There have been countless updates that list pages of new features but I can’t find many of them. I tried the Noteswriter Pro videos on YouTube and some of the directions don’t work. In the manual and on the YouTube screen the various headers are different, the drop down choices have been moved to other headers. The icons in the manual, the video and the app are all different. The web page indicates a whole new rewrite for iPadOS 18. If the next version is no better than the current version I will delete and move on.

Terrible app tools doesn’t work !! I want my money back ASAP!! Please

I’ve been using this app for awhile now,and it works great. A couple of this that would be nice to have fixed/changed. The collaboration I’d is clunky and doesn’t always update between users very well. If there was a way to push an update between users it would be nice. Also,it would be nice to be about to rotate images the way that free text can be rotated,into any position the user wanted,instead of four cardinal directions.

I upgraded to the pro but I can’t access anything that was done in the free version. What is the point in paying extra if I have to start over?

I didn’t need anything too elaborate for marking up PDF files. This app fit the bill perfectly! I can rely on their regular updates/bug fixes. I really appreciate the folder covers and auto backup. 👍🏽

I am dissatisfied as I have paid for the pro version to use for my school assignments. I am upset that I have been working on my assignment on this app and it did not save my work that I spent a lot of time doing. I need a refund ASAP.
