Novelist

I recently went on the hunt for apps to rewrite my story’s original draft. I had about a third out the draft done. Nothing really tickled the spot, to be honest I was kind of hopeless about apps. Tried a few, and they all locked everything behind subscription paywalls. Of course, that’s fair, have to make money somehow. But I swear none of them offered anything as helpful as this does. At least for me, I enjoy being able to tag everything and put down events and information. There’s also so much character metadata that made me realise I don’t even know the basics of my own character apparently. Anyways, I’m enjoying the app, and the fact I can export it to use as an e-book is doubly awesome. Basically I’m saying I like Novelist. Thank you for letting me switch from Google Docs, my writing life is going to be so much better now.

Hi does the app not support Apple Pencil? I know its futile to use a pencil, instead of keyboard. Just wondering

this app is my favourite and i use it for everything because no other app have given such simplicity. however, since the new update it’s become slightly infuriating how it comes out of the book the moment you come out of the app (even to just look something up for like one second??) i write a lot and will continue to use the app but i let out the biggest sigh every time when i have to go back onto the book and into the right chapter all because i went onto pinterest or something for a brief moment😭

This is the best writing app and easy to use . Don’t change Anything about your app keep it simple Thank you .

Love the app, any chance you can make an update so that the keyboard also goes into dark mode? Most apps use the dark mode for the keyboard, in dark mode in Novelist it still uses the bright daytime keyboard.

Amazing app but now is crashing and I have lost all my work I am trying to get it fixed but very good

I downloaded an app for writing stories but I could only write one for free then I needed to get a contract.. so I looked at some and this one said it had no purchases?! So I was like UHMMM REALLY??? Then I looked at the reviews and most of them are 5 stars so I was just like: YES PLEASE!!! So I downloaded it and I love it! Although I can’t figure out how to get a front cover photo.. and could you make lay out options? Like instead of managing to fit a lot across the way it can scroll? Anyways your amazing, keep up the good work

Only just started using this app, but is is so SO incredibly useful. I know it’s a writing app, but I find it really helpful as a way of organising my study notes on different texts. Perfect how an intricate network of tags, relationships etc. can be built up. Has exactly the right amount of features: more than I expected, and all really handy, but without the clutter of obscure extra functions. Just a huge thank you to the developer, this app is a lifesaver.

Ok, so; 1) it has had a slight update so it is a little tiny weenie, bit confusing but other than that is absolutely amazing. You can still use the right at the bottom and it will let you write your story. That’s a good side of the things and I’ve really got no bad side, so I guess that you should definitely get this. My cousin showed it to me and I thought it would be terrible. Looks terrible but it’s actually amazing so please get this and thank you for reading.
