Very buggy. I'm unable to key in my booking number despite trying it multiple times.
Imagine being NUS and wanting to go digital only to use an app that breaks every semester on check in day, to the point that PGPR has physical cards ready and waiting as contingency. Utterly useless
Since the mobile key will be used frequently, develop a widget version which can be added at the iPhone will be much appreciated.
Pure rubbish app that does not work. Not deserving of a star
This application is slow, inefficient and has compromised the quality of life in PGPR due to its gross inefficiencies and extremely abysmal UI/UX. NUS should just abolish this mobile key and admit that they have wasted millions in developing this useless application. The traditional matric card system has been working fine for years and should be the main way we unlock our hostel rooms.
Please let us use the normal keycards ffs
Is this designed by some year 1 students? This app doesn’t look like a working profession’s work.
The developers behind the app couldn’t even think of basic scenarios while developing the app. For example, if a key is active and the app is deleted and reinstalled the app shows no active keys, but when one tries to add a new key it shows an error that a key is already present. This leads to the app becoming completely useless. The hostel has to keep the gates open 24/7 because this app does not work for most students, thus compromising the security of the hostel and residents. I advice the interested customers of this app to rather use access cards until the dev team irons out these basic bugs. I cannot say when it will happen if ever, considering I have been using this app for over a year and the same problems remain.
Not sure if to blame the app or the hardware in the rooms, but unlocking the room takes about 5-30 attempts. This is a great concept though, just poorly implemented.
