NW Publisher

This is by far the best application I have ever used that is designed, not just for the Congregation Elders, but for every Publisher in the congregation! It does a great job of keeping everyone in the congregation up to date on everything that we are concerned about. It keeps track of meeting assignments, field service time, congregation responsibilities, announcements, special events, assemblies and conventions, Public Witnessing Cart reservations, Circuit Overseer visits, and a host of other things. It is great for the Publishers but even better for congregation overseers. It keeps track of everyone’s assignments so that there are no scheduling conflicts. For Coordinators, it provides constant reminders of what the other Elders are working on. For the Secretary, it is the best Field Service Reporting and time gathering tool I have ever used. It’s a fantastic tool for Field Group Overseers. It allows them to have the contact and spiritual information for all in their group in the palm of their hands. There is so much good I have experienced with this program that I could keep on raving about it until the cows come home! However, nothing is perfect. I have used this app in two congregations. Generally, when something goes wrong, it is usually operator error. I read one Pioneer’s complaint that she lost all of her time that she reported in the app. In the two or three years that I have used the app I have never heard of that happening However, it could have been the result of the Secretary accidentally deleting her data. But the program makes a backup of itself each time we use it. So, the elders should have been able to find her time and restore it. The program keeps track of the last 40 backups so that you can restore any previous automatic backup. It also encourages the elders to make regular offsite backups so that ever if one’s computer get trashed you can restore the data on another computer in just minutes. But again, as previously mentioned, nothing is perfect. But these Brothers are doing a fantastic job of posting monthly updates and improvements to the application! I have used or tested many of the similar programs on the market. I have not found even one program that comes close to what this program does for the congregation. That’s probably why this appears to be one of the most popular programs around and it is catching on like wildfire! There is no way that you can try this application and not love it. Every time there is an update, several items don’t work. I emailed the customer service team recently and they were very rude. Their response was definitely not Christ like. If they’re going to change something, they should make sure it works before implementing, and if there is a problem, be ready to help those that support them.

I love this app, so very much. I, young sister. I am a publisher of 1 year, this app will help us to be organized in preaching work. Today we have a watchtower about “Organization” so I will definitely be mentioning this app in my comment. Thank you my dear brothers.

Most recent update caused parts of the app to not work. Error message comes up at the bottom of the main page. I can no longer see Weekend meeting and service schedules.

The app works okay but it would be better if there was an option to add dark mode and to copy and paste into the boxes. Also many older people in my congregation to use the app even after guiding them.

You must be a computer wiz to work this program. Not have the option to work with NWS on a website. Admin must only use windows platform to work on NWS. I miss HourGlass.

Great App

"Duties" not populating in the app 5.29.24

I love this app and have everything at my fingertips. The only thing it would be nice for update where you can synchronize it with your other device like if I have it on my iPhone and my iPad, it would show all my records on both device.

Been working with various congregation softwares over the years. I’m grateful to everyone who has worked on all the softwares but this is the best I’ve encountered. The new territory features are awesome and now with today’s update being able to quickly grab GPS coordinates is huge because so many houses in our country don’t have addresses. Thanks to everyone behind the scenes for your hard work!
