Using the nxCricket app for some matches and it's great!! Some things we would like have added. Such as: * Location where you hit the ball to when caught; * First words after returning to the pavilion after giving out. E.g: I did hit it! Why did the *** umpire give me LBW? This is more fun but for lower league teams, it adds to the joy. It could be optional * Option of writing and including the match report and including it in the stats when sending it out and looking it up later; * Internet page where you can add/edit/delete players, using a full sized keyboard is quicker and better than an iPhone/iPad keyboard; * Summary per season, useful when completing the stats form for the governing body after the season. Now it is the complete history which is good for only the first year.

This app is great to use for scores. No more filling in all the fields in the paperscorebook. You forget it real quickly when you are not paying attention. In one or two clicks one ball will be recorded. It is very easy to use for everyone. All features of the app can be explained in one minute so everyone can understand. This app makes scoring way much easier and like I do, I write the scores over to a real book after the match.

Reported some bugs but got no replies

Do the developers respond to emails? Sent several emails about issues but not had any replies

Good app but having same issue as another user ... in pairs cricket, if you go back to amend an over with a wicket, the totals don’t reconcile anymore and there’s no way to fix it. Embarrassing to send out pdf to all the parents with mistakes in it ... please address this bug.

Since the last update (4.3.1) the app will not let you score on it Before this update was working fine

Updated to 4.3.1, app will not let you score matches. Please fix asap as this app was good before!!!

This app is almost perfect, it is great for scoring almost any format of a cricket match. The pdf file the app produces, along with the HTML and other file it makes are brilliant for sending to players and putting on Twitter/websites. The only thing I would recommend for this app is support for live tweeting, where the app composes tweets for you to send via your club Twitter account to keep people updated. I recommend paying the extra for this app.

Very good scoring app... But some issues for example on how to record a short run with batsmen crossed. Also it would be handy to have a game template to use every time instead of having to setup a new game with customised parameters for each new game. A print out / output using traditional scoring book display would be very handy as the game can then be transcribed into the teams official manual scorebook instead of having to do both together!

Excellent app. I have tried a few and this allows for all sorts of combination of scoring schemes used in young persons cricket. It is also very easy to edit any mistakes during or after the match (by the scorers not the players !!) Scoring used to be a run and hide moment with my parents, now anyone can do it. They just need to know what byes etc. are.
