Get out of the bed and update please.
NYC subway had actually changed a lot over the past few years. This app hasn’t updated with any of the new changes (New 2nd ave subway, new 7 train stops, W train back, etc.)
This app augments a nice view of the standard map with a nice display of all the stations you'll pass on a journey you've searched. Unfortunately, the absence of the 7 line extension and the first completed part of the Second Ave. line show that the app is not being kept up to date.
It's a nice handheld version of the official train maps and it's fun to click on stops and check the amount of time the ride will take but will the app ever be updated with the new stops and lines????? The app made the impression that it might sync with MTA data but... As far as I can tell it's just a nice pdf.
Guys, it's hard to believe, but since this version of the app was released, even the MTA has made changes in the subway system. Missing the 7 extension? Check. Missing the N/R/Q/W service changes? Check. Will be missing the Q-as-2nd Ave line? Probably.
Best offline tool to move around NYC (subways) 👍🏻
I was looking for something more than just a static PDF map but not requiring a data connection and this is exactly it. The UI is simple and intuitive: click a station, then "from", click another station then "to". That's it.
Looks great, until you try and use it. I can't find any instructions at all. Not on the developers site either.
The app is so easy to use. Just tap on a location and choose if this from or to than the app calculates the routes. It works even you are off line. Thank you for the great app. Keep up the good work.
