Observa: Earn Money via PayPal

This company is deeply unserious. They will tell you they validate within 24 hours, make you wait 48 to 96 hours. Then if you reach out to support, they will reject all of your submissions as a punishment for contacting support. Just delete your profile and the app. They will email you on Christmas and demand you work, but will not pay and tell you they have a backlog and then reject your submissions. They basically want you to be a free photographer and treat you like a spoiled child they are withholding an allowance from instead of an employee doing labor for this joke of a company.

Asked to stop the audit per store managers concern. Showed the “authorization letter” and denied permission to complete. Store had previously requested Observa reps not return. Made appropriate notes/several email communications with Observa to explain why unable to complete. Denied any payment and Observa reposted the audit for someone else to be in same uncomfortable situation. Shame on Observa. Not BBB approved for a reason.

Pays but needs better strategy

I’ve lived in Davenport for 27 years I worked at Safeway for 3 years as a stocker and I go to Safeway everyday, they don’t refrigerate there hello and deserts because it’s too small of a store, I have picture proof of what they wanted, they made all the excuses they could to not except it and pay me. When you go somewhere everyday for a long time you know exactly where everything is, it’s a small town grocery store. These people will scam you, so if I were you I’d delete this app and go on with your life. Do not waste your time. They will not pay you. No matter how good you take pictures.

Please do not waste your time with this company. This company is the worst and they will rip you off. You will waste your time and your energy and most importantly your money. These people have burned me for more than $250. And with the recent updates, they just made the application even worse don’t let. To me happen to you for the love of God do not download this application. Do not invest your time and energy into this application. Go find something more certain because this is worse than gambling. You might as well go to the casino and gamble. Your odds are better with the casino than they are with this application.

Corrected review after resolution to my not getting paid for originally rejected audits: Other apps suggested to me do not have work in my area. This app has plenty for me. I must correct an earlier review. I connected with support regarding my rejected audits. They were able to look deeper into my concerns regarding and they made corrections and accepted my audits and made payments or let me know what was incorrect about my rejected audits. Observa DOES pay and does make gig work easy. They also have a support staff that is willing to look deeper into issues instead of relying only on original assessments of audits.My has experience shifted once there was clarity from me and the reviewers. Some times the app glitches but secondary features ensure that audits are not lost and still get submitted, at least so far that is my experience. I had a location error once where The app told me i was not at a location but it eventually resolved itself, i still sent an email to support to cya. But the app eventually accepted the audit. I wish tgat during a rejection you could view the entire audit and what needs correction instead if just getting a text response. But if you reply and connect with support they can provide you with those images and more information

It was my very first time using the app so I didn’t know what all it entailed they make you go to the store straighten out their isles for the picture and then if they claim the picture is tilted, any of the pictures are tilted, you don’t get paid for your time you’re already only paying low amounts of money but they have the audacity to say that if your picture are crooked, you don’t get paid the thing is the camera says that the camera is tilted before you even take the picture so you’ll already know if your picture is slanted because the camera will let you know my camera never said tilted when I took any of my pictures I made sure so that I would not have to retake the pictures they rejected it. I will never do these things again because it’s too much work to go to an aisle fix it for the store so that it looks nice and neat just to take a picture that they’re going to reject anyway, this app is horrible.

Avoid at all cost unless you want money stolen from you every chance they get. Dirty people here

The directions are unclear (at best), if you have a question, their help will rush to get you an answer, in only 5 business days. Also, it seems to take them 5 business days to review your work (which will be rejected), that way they can scam you into doing as many as possible without having to pay anyone. Use the other apps, MUCH better pay and support.
