Legitimately impressed. Very fun, and doesn’t need wifi, so great for long car rides

This is amazing. It’s incredible gameplay wise, story-wise for each character, it’s well balanced regardless of options you pick or leave out at the start. I don’t even need to get started on the visuals to tell you this is amazing, but I will anyway. It is visually stunning, every landscape created for this game is filled to the brim with effort, each minor character has personality, and the list obviously goes on and on. It’s unfortunate this game hasn’t received as large an audience as it should, and the last update being a year ago is sad to see for such a beautiful game.

Started playing this yesterday and haven’t put it down since, I love the permadeath aspect as it really makes every fight interesting

Honestly great game i love it, but i have about 900G and have got my team in fitted curiasses and such and no matter where i go i cant find new armor or weapons to buy or upgrade my current stuff, i thought after hroks warrior axe mission i might get access to a new blacksmith but he dissapears, im not sure what to do with my money other than buy supplies if i cant buy more and more improved equipment. But i really love this game and would love to see new weapons and armour added

Far too few know this game - it's huge, free and brilliantly put together. A bit King's Bounty, a bit Zelda, a bit UFO enemy unknown - what's not to try?

This game is perfect in all aspects

Occidental Heroes is a fabulous game. It’s simple strategic style of gameplay and it’s battle mechanics are similar to Chess in some ways. The new health bar idea is a little worse than the set health, but still works. The amount of thought required to be able to play properly and get a good ending is surprising for a free game with pixelated graphics. Graphics ain’t everything. For new players, Here are the characters you should aim to start of with; Hal Rigger (Mysterious Stranger) who can skip turns, Dr. Kirran Lavioto (Wandering Naturalist), who will skip Bear and Wolf encounters as well as forage for their own supplies, and lastly, Ryke Elliam, who can skip turns after a pretty difficult quest. Fencer class is okay, but with these mechanics, not the best.

Simple but atmospheric. The in-game dialogue is affected by the characters you pick and the choices they make. The game is more subtle than it first appears. The death of a character/team without being able to reload from an old save and characters becoming weary of adventure and seeking retirement might be infuriating from a gaming perspective but it adds to the charm of this wonderful game.

I haven’t found another grid based rpg on mobile that has compared to this.
