Won’t connect
I can not get the router to connect to the app to save my life. It keeps giving me error codes and I’m doing everything right.

This app’s rating has not been updated. It’s terrible and has no signs of becoming better. Have tried 3 times in the last 4 months, thinking surely, that some effort would have been taken to update app to fix the program and make it a bit more user friendly… what is going on? You need to just keep up with the fact that is your network connected or not and leave the rest of the silly permissions and bells and whistles alone. They will only frustrate you.
I’ve listed the devices connected to the network. For some reason the space bar does not work when adjusting the names of the connected devices , possibly a new bug that needs to be addressed Overall a very good app
Horrible app
Been trying to onboard my toaster since we got the service. No luck Registered my account and went to on-board my router but keeps giving me an error and to try back
In a year of use, OEC fiber is proving to be the best and most reliable internet provider I’ve ever experienced. This app is a gateway to their service.
When I first started using the app it worked as intended. I didn’t have any problems and I was able to go through all the connected devices and rename them from their IP address and sort them into categories. The app now does not work. All my connected devices have started reverting back to their IP addresses so I have a hard time identifying each device. They have also reverted back from their assigned categories to default. At this point now, all my connected devices are not even listed and I can’t click on anything. I uninstalled the app and did a fresh install and rebooted my phone and I can’t even get logged back into my account.
The app says it has the ability to set the times that the devices will not work. I have tried to set those up, but it never makes it past the loading screen. That is one of the main reasons I downloaded the app. It also only lists the IP addresses of the devices that are on network. So you have to then go through and figure out which IP address goes to which device.
Nice to see this kind of app be available for OEC. It was not very clear that you had to create a login. I tried first to use my OEC account but that didn’t work. After the third email from OEC about the app I finally tried to create a new account for the app which worked. I would recommend adding instruction on the home page that say the login is different from your OEC Fiber login and if it’s your first time downloading the app to create a new account. Other than that it’s great to see. Another nice feature to include would be a network speed test.
