I bought this app for my wife. There are some design issues: . No bulk data entry, for instance data entry for a whole week like other timesheets. . User interface is not that easy, too many choices, Look at the bank app of abnamro. That's an easy design. . No year to date reports, only day, week, month and all . You can't add a timesheet in another year, for instance, you want to add a timesheet for december 2012. It's not possible, it adds a timesheet for the current year. There is no way to change the year. . Office time tracks the year, so why this stupid design. I have done a lot of work for nothing. . Don't show all project's if there is only one project. The result is a duplication of all projects and the only project. And yes I only use one project. The good things are . Export to csv works, and yes also the year of the timesheet . Functionality, timesheets works with projects and categories. Maintenance works fine. . Overall it works, no bug's, alot of functionality.. My advice is: . take care of that year problem.. You can add the default year, thats very easy to implement. . Add a bulk week update, like other professional timesheet software.
Je hebt dus eigenlijk niets aan de gratis versie. Je kunt hem alleen proberen om te beslissen of je de betaalde versie wil.
I've been using Office Time for several years now and swear by it. It really is the easiest to use time tracking program I have ever seen. Over the years many people have changed their program after seeing how simple and well Office Time worked for me. And perhaps even more importantly, how extremely quick and supportive the help desk is. But since I have started to do more and more work via my iPhone, I have been having trouble keeping track of activities away from the computer. This problem has now been solved thanks to this deliciously simple app on my iPhone!!! Can't think of anything more I could want from Office Time now!
I have been using this app for over 10 years and I use it to time my job so I know how much to charge based on the hourly rate that I set for each client. it’s working very well on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad. I did purchase the subscription because I wanted to use the cloud sync which works very well. I emailed their support the other day and they were fairly quick to respond to the email and was very helpful. There also is a reporting feature so if you need to calculate for tax season all the jobs and how much you made, you can easily do that by filtering for the whole year or doing a custom filter for other years. Personally, I think it’s good to make a project for each client or at least that is is what I’m doing. When you’re in the projects, you can select a project tap the edit button and you can set a default hourly rate for that project. You set the hourly rates in the categories area. So basically when you’re in the settings for the projects, you can set a default category for that project so every time you add a new timer to that project it will use that hourly rate, but you can always change the hourly rate/category on the fly also.
This is a great product! If you need to track billable time it does everything you need. I much prefer it to Timeslips. It isn’t high maintenance, doesn’t require lots of set up time, and it never crashes.
You need to buy the pro version to get it to sync. After purchasing the pro version I realized you have to buy the desktop version to actually get it to sync. Essentially all other time tracking apps have a sync function between iPad and iPhone. Those are much better solutions. This software is in beta and should be avoided.
The most direct and usable time tracker I have found. Exports to excel or use the desktop partner app. Super.
I have the desktop software "OfficeTime" which syncs up well with this app. I am a musician and work a lot from home and need to track time and project sessions accurately and keep great records for my clients. This is a very customizable app and software that works well for my needs. I like that you can download the program to your computer and not rely on the cloud services most other companies use. I would highly recommend this for any small business that needs to track time and projects.
Works really well for what I need.
