OffScreen: Screen Time Control

Just don’t turn on location sharing. My phone was drained after just a few hours. Battery usage of this app was 52% according to the usage report! The rest of the app is nice so far.

I kindly suggest adding an option to disable or customize the 30-minute vibration reminders on the Apple Watch, as they can affect concentration. Thank you for considering this improvement.

I used the app for almost a week and was fully satisfied until it started sending me notifications that I must share my location; otherwise, it would stop blocking my apps. As a result, it stopped working, and I canceled my subscription. If it's necessary to track my location, why was it possible to use this app before without these settings ?

I can no longer select apps to add to my off time.

It works but I deleted it and the app times off limits still show-I re-downloaded it and all of my data was gone so I’m stuck with things and I’m unable to open my apps

I’ve really enjoyed the detailed date beyond the simple screentime stats that Apple provides but the location requirement and the need to always have the app open is antiquated, other apps are able to integrate with the screentime API. Currently I’m concerned they’re selling location data since they’re a Chinese company, we’ve seen the news related to TikTok. If they integrate with apple’s screentime api and kill off the requirement for the app to always be open and for location data to always be on, I would update this review to 5 stars. Until then I’m not comfortable using it.

I used to use this for productivity and redownloaded it. Whitelist does not work anymore. It gives me lots of loading messages, only to not actually whitelist any of my apps. That was the reason I used this app, to be able to whitelist while being in productive mode, so I am disappointed.

It somehow turned off my wireless cellular data. That terrified me to have a mostly inactive phone—no iMessage. It screwed up everything. Also read that someone had malware downloaded onto their phone from this app? Everything else was gonna be awesome. I’m sad that it’s rogue. Especially since I bought the lifetime one.

Everything else is fine; I just hope there's more flexibility with the length of Long Breaks, possibly extending them to 30 minutes or an hour.
