ondaysix could use an update to make sure it works for all phones and to make sure that it works like their website since the website works better than the app apparently
This app is rubbish.i regret paying for the site.my picture’s not approved and I can’t even see anyone to message.this is a robot site.total rubbish
The 1 star is for the app not the website! After entering the login info the keyboard doesn’t disappear from the screen like it should, in order to reveal the login button! Therefore it prevents you from completing your login!
The app covers the login button. Even the customer service screen is unworkable. Continually says username has “special characters”. Really poor app. No idea how the rest of it functions. Can’t imagine it’s well.
When on the log in screen I can enter my username and password. But that is all. I cannot click the login button because the keyboard covers it up. I M unable to minimize the keyboard to log in. This is frustrating. Why have an app if you can’t use it?
This app is terrible. The way the app is designed won’t let you tab or scroll to the bottom to hit the “Login” button after putting your info in. It also won’t let you minimize the keyboard on the iphone to hit the “Login” button. This makes the app completely unusable. If I can’t login, I can’t use the app. The developers need to fix this. It's almost as if they didn't even test the app before releasing it to make sure it functioned correctly. The service using the web is okay, but not really any different than all the others.
The 2-star rating is for the app, not the dating service. It is missing substantial information from the web version. It only includes a photo, 8 pieces of information, and the introduction that the person wrote. It's missing all the questions with paragraph answers, and all the checklist questions about interests. Since all of this is important information -- at least to me -- I end up using the web version on my phone even though I have the app. About the dating service: this is my second favorite of the ones I've tried. OKCupid remains my clear favorite because -- at least for people in my match range -- people write long profiles and answer many questions -- usually several hundred, sometimes over a thousand. It really helps you to know if this is a person you want to pursue. Other sites I've tried, other than OnDaySix, have too little information about the person, making them useless (Christian Mingle, Christian Dating For Free, etc.) OnDaySix asks some good free-form questions that are helpful in getting to know the person. OnDaySix is a strongly Christian website with most people coming from a Bethel church background. A drawback of OnDaySix is that it seems the majority of people are from the Redding, California area, where Bethel Church and the ministry school is. For example, most states in the Great Lakes area only have about 50 women on this site, of all ages combined (who have included photos). Speaking of ages, most members are under 35.
