This is the best dream journaling app. It has all you need and I love the sleek design. Also, the feature that you can add a picture to express your dream is really enjoyable.

For the last 3+ years I've been using this app often for personal reasons, to record my dreams and to transcribe excerpts from videos. I export the dream recording into my dream app and then delete the recording. Otter has been awesome. There are times it transcribes incorrectly when it seems like it should have been able to capture the relatively clear articulation, but on the whole this app has performed great.

This is a great app for keeping track of your dreams. There’s not really much of a point in doing so— at least for me — but given how fast I tend to forget them, looking back on the dreams later can be very entertaining. In my opinion, though, it has one serious flaw. There is a section where you can record your emotions in the dream — at least that’s the idea. Here, you’re forced to choose emotions from an extremely limited set of words that has never included some of the most basic things like “worried”. In that instance , for example, of that, you’re offered “apprehensive”, which we all know doesn’t imply the same depth of feeling. And the worst part of it is, there’s no option to add your own words. For me this ALWAYS results in a distorted record of how the dream made me feel. If you’re going to ask me how I feel, at least let me tell you in my own words. Aside from that, the app is well designed and relatively easy to use.

i guess if you don’t make an account they delete all of your entries, it doesn’t make sense but whatever. it was decent but not even backing up your entries to your apple profile is just bad practice

hello, this app has to be the best app on the app store for dream interpretation + everything related to dreams. its got an amazing ui, great setup, and has a wide variety for features for lucid dreaming. one gripe, however, and that would be the pricing for the pro plans. $8 per month is hardly a bargain, and nearing $50 for the year is getting closer but should be less for a yearly plan. It would be great if there were sales every now and then, but the only assistance price wise is a week free trial. i would very much buy the pro plan at a discounted price

The app worked great for writing down dreams until it reset for some reason and deleted all of my dreams i wrote down which is really upsetting

Recently, I lost all my dreams and data written in the app without warning and I have no way of getting them back. The app suddenly and completely reset for me. All of it is now blank and I have no way to look back on any of my previous dreams that I trusted this app with. Terrible choose for dream journaling, just use you’re notes app.

In the analysis tab there was no option to make an image. Thats the main reason I got premium.

I've had this app for YEARS. I only recently decided to stop paying for the app because I need to start saving money for college. Today I clicked on the app so that I could store a dream that I just remembered, and I discovered that all of my dreams are gone. I went to the FAQ page and it suggested that I just needed to log back in, but when I tried putting in my email addresses, all of them stated that I never had an account here. So if that's the case, I'm going to leave a bad review and I'm going to delete this app because I am not happy with losing YEARS WORTH OF DATA.

When I first downloaded the app, everything was going great. The app would crash every now and then, but was fine otherwise. I left for awhile because I didn’t remember any dreams for some time, then all of a sudden, when I get back on, everything was gone. Completely gone. It told me to log in or create an account. Everything I had written down, was completely gone. I had never had an account before and it never asked me to create one, but now there’s accounts, all my important dreams are gone.
