Opener ‒ open links in apps

Deleted my browser to avoid distractions, but I couldn't open app links for zoom, google maps, etc. This app immediately solves the issue. It just works! Now app links open in their respective apps without needing a browser tempting distraction for me. The last piece of the puzzle, my dumb phone is now complete!

Hands down, no questions, this app is so integral to the way I use my phone that I don’t know how it hasn’t been acquired by Apple yet. 🤣 The only thing I’ve not seen yet is Steampowered links not opening in the Steam app. 10/10 would recommend. 11/10 are that gets added!

i wish there was a way to suggest apps to be added but almost everything works with it —even smaller apps like nebula

An extension for automation would have been a game changer Crazy that the dev is too egotistical to pivot

Been using this for years, I love the control it offers me over my experience with my devices.

I use this app all the time. It's a feature I wish was integrated in the OS itself, but the app is more than amazing. I especially appreciate the new features like the QR code image, stuff like that makes me appreciate the dev even more.

A device without opener installed is like going back to the days before mice had two buttons. It may not be flashy, but using devices without it is extremely frustrating. A must have for every user! 2024 update - a URL shortener and QR code generator without using creepy sites! Awesome!!

Deviantart links aren’t working despite being listed as supported.

An example: you’re reading Apple News, and you want to see what the web version of a story looks like. Share to Opener, then “open with Safari app.” Or Firefox Focus; why keep web history you don’t need?
