Optics is a design tool for zooming into photos and getting color values, distance measurements, and precision cropping.
Color Picker
- get RGB, HSL, or HSB values of individual pixels
- zoom into the photo for full detail
- loupe available for fast precision
Rectangle Selection & Crop Tool
- crop your photo to any size, down to the pixel
- precisely measure dimensions
- for flat images, remove the background to isolate the foreground element, with nicely anti-aliased borders. Note: the "remove background" feature only works with images with a flat background, and not photo-like images.

- see the x and y locations of every measurement

Very nice app
This is a really nice app. The level of zoom and detail that you can get on your photos is remarkable. I find it simple to use and it seems to work really well.
It works as described
You can view every single picture in your photos by using this app. The best feature about it is that you can look at the individual colors of the pixels and distinguish between them.
Works great and accurate
Even if it's a bit specialized, if you need to know the color config of a pixel, this works great. Perfect for those in graphic design or other professions that need an exact color representation. This app is easy to use and as far as I can tell very accurate. Well done.
Zoom in to every pixel!
I do independent design work, so I've been needing a handy tool to get RGB values from screenshots. This app is precise and perfect! Well done.
