Millions of years in the future, mankind has forgotten its origin - Earth, and you must help a robot carry on his creator’s wish of finding it, as he realizes a greater purpose inside his tiny mechanical heart. 存分に楽しめた。
レベルデザインがしっかりしていて、インディゲームにありがちな調整不足による理不尽さを感じない。ゲームオーバーが無く、情報をしっかりと整理していればクリア出来るが、苦手な人は紙とペンを用意して星や宙域の位置関係を図に描いた方が良いかもしれない。 音楽はBGMとしてうまく機能していて、作品の雰囲気を形作り、またゲームプレイの邪魔にならない。天体にカーソルを合わせた時の効果音も音楽の一部となるように設計されており、また「ある宙域」を観測した時に、その明るさを表現するように音がフェードインする仕掛けには感心した。 個人的にとても楽しかったのは、見つけた天体の名前を自分でつけられること。水資源が豊富だが逆光衛星があって離着陸困難な惑星にはインド神話からヴリトラの名前を引用したり、地球によく似た惑星には北欧神話で神々が住む地のうちのひとつからヴァナヘイムと名付けたり、銀河の名前をファラオの配偶者や女性のファラオの名前で統一したり……プレイ時間そのものよりも天体の名付けのために事典を引く時間の方が長かったかもしれない。また、名前を思いつかなかったり、そもそも名付けが面倒な場合、エムが勝手に天使の名前や覚えやすい記号をつけてくれる。これも良い点だと思う。 日本語への翻訳は少し不自然で誤字脱字も多く、天体の説明欄に説明が入りきらず後半がカットされているなど、日本語訳の監修が甘い部分が見受けられるが、意味が分からなかったり酷い誤訳があってプレイを阻害するほどではない。 不満としては、イヤホンでのプレイを推奨しているくせにある重要な場面の音楽がピークを振り切れていて音が割れていることと、スマホゲーとしては追加課金要素が多すぎること(それでも天井知らずなガチャゲーよりはマシだが……)。でも、逆を言えばそれくらいしか不満がない。 存分に楽しむことができた。少なくとも、きちんとレビューを書こうと思うくらいには楽しかった。
クリアしました
今までキャラクターが沢山登場するタイプのソーシャルゲームに5万円以上の課金をしてきたのですが、短編・買い切りのアプリゲームにたった320円でも払ったことは初めてでした。 私はゲームをクリアし、その後のボーナスも全て拝聴しました。 以前からインディーズゲームに興味はあり、SNSなどでその界隈を遠くから眺めてはいたのですが… この度は最も近くで、「インディーズゲームはこうあるからこそ、そこが魅力」というものを噛み締めることができました。 OPUS:地球計画は、私にとって新たな界隈に足を踏み入れる契機となりました。 宇宙とインディーズ、二つの素敵な世界に出会わせてくれて、ありがとうございました。 魂の架け橋の方もインストールし、最後までお金を払ってプレイさせていただきます。 たった数百円で、5万円以上の感動体験を味わわないのはもったいないですから。

惑星探査がおもしろくない
「OPUS: 魂の架け橋」をやってから来ました。 能天気な女性キャラ×怒りっぽい男性キャラの組み合わせは恒例なんでしょうか？ 探索の合間の会話や残されたオブジェクトを通して、世界で何が起こったのかが少しずつ見えてくる構成は似ていますね。 でも本作では致命的に探索パート=望遠鏡での惑星探査がつまらない、ただの作業です。 コンピュータが指示する座標に行って、「地球との相似性が高い」って言うから調べてるのに「全然違う」みたいなコメントが返ってくる。これの繰り返し。 ゾーンやら星雲やらの位置関係もごっちゃになりました(自分だけ？) ストーリーは気になるけど、作業に耐えられず無邪気過ぎるエムにも感情移入できなかったので、序盤で断念しました。
