Oracle Fusion Expenses

This app crashes all the time, people don’t get paid their expenses. It’s a waste of time)

This app is quite unstable, with regular synchronisation issues with Expense Cloud. Poor functionality, clearly demonstrating that Oracle does not give any priority to developing decent mobile applications.

Tax field is populating wrong values

For a multi billion company to publish this giant steaming turd of an app really is an embarrassment. It crashes constantly during upload, only to see all your entered expenses disappear forcing you to re-enter). The currency drop down is ridiculous and tales forever (seriously, why make me scroll through EVERY currency, let alone forget the last currency I used which is frustrating for those who travel to numerous counties in one business trip). It regularly uploads duplicates of the same expense line too. The font pack doesn’t seem to have been upgrades since the original iPhone was realised. Open it on your iPhone X - it doesn’t even fill the screen. I really loathe this app. The only thing worse is using their desktop experience. Maybe Larry could forgo one sail for his yacht and reinvest in his products that his customers use. Only got 1 star as I can’t select nil.

After downloading latest version, app has stopped working. Gives error "Could not sync projects and tasks." Please fix.

Really struggling with how bad the mobile app is. From its dated and unfriendly mobile UI, to the frequent crashes, the challenges with authenticating with SSO leave me high and dry. I can almost get the work done via the other fusion app (formerly HCM) but few of the screens are optimized for mobile within expenses UI. This should be table stakes for a cloud offering and the delivery is woefully deficient

My company recently switched from Expensify to this app. It’s been a disaster. The app is extremely buggy and requires significant extra time to submit simple expenses, taking time away from actual work tasks. Where Expensify could easily and accurately scan all necessary info from a photo of a receipt the Oracle app is useless for scanning, all information has to be filled in manually and many corrections require the submitter to go to the web interface. Our traveling salesforce absolutely hates this. Save yourself and your team the headaches and endless calls to your IT and finance departments and use Expensify or other service.

In theory this app is great idea and it would be lovely if it actually worked. But more times than not it doesn’t work and unless you don’t mind constantly uninstalling and reinstalling the application and dealing with getting it set up it’s really not worth it. Oracle has done little to update or keep up with this application, so I would avoid it. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Doesn’t work

Cumbersome interface that looks like it might have been conceived pre-2000; booted out of the app about every three hours and forced to sign in; no way to set an exchange rate preference, so have to scroll through the list with every entry when traveling; and, the best one, app crashes mid-entry about 60% of the time (naturally no partial entry is saved, so back to the beginning of logging the expense you go!). This would be great if someone who knew what they were doing designed it. Unfortunately they didn’t and created this clunky abomination.
