Oral-B is the best! the toothbrush was nice and the thibg that shows you if your teeth are clean! thank you for making this app.
My insurance asked if I wanted to participate in improving my dental health. I said yes. I received the new electronic toothbrush and water pick system in the nail. I love brushing with my iPhone showing me what I am doing wrong and when to ease off on pressure or use more pressure. My mouth doesn’t feel this good with just brushing. It’s like just leaving the dentist from a cleaning!!! I’m in all the way with this program!!!
Amazing with how expensive these IO toothbrushes cost that the app does not work properly. According to the app, I’m either applying too much pressure, or too little pressure, when brushing (feels like a miracle on those rare brushing sessions when I don’t get dinged for too much pressure applied). Then, I’m carefully brushing all the teeth in my mouth, and I know I’ve brushed all areas, but the app says I didn’t (beyond that, so often I’m brushing in one area and the app shows that I’m brushing in a different area, which makes no sense). On average, if I want a high scoring brush session, I have to brush for 3+ minutes, which is beyond the 2 minute goal. I’m getting to the point where I might delete the app and just pay attention to my brushing pressure from the indicator lights on the toothbrush handle (I have the iO Series 9). Update: I received an informative response to my review from the developer(s). Hopefully, as they make more application updates and the app will get better, but it’s still far from ideal. Another update: Received a developer response to previous update, where they indicated they were glad I learned some tricks and tips? Not sure where they got that information from in relation to my latest review of this app in the App Store. I’m still having the same issues with the app I previously reported. On average, for the app to recognize 100% coverage, I have to brush between 3 and 4 minutes. Apparently I’m not alone based on other reviews I’ve read. I wonder if the developers use an Oral B IO toothbrush with the iOS app to test functionality (if they did, certainly they would see the problems myself and other reviewers have reported). At this point, I’ve had enough of this app, sorry to say. I’m going to delete the app and just use the IO toothbrush by itself (based on the toothbrush’s colored lights, I’ll be able to tell if I’m brushing too hard, or if I am not applying enough pressure). The app is very disappointing - They should not have brought the app to market until it was ready, and it clearly isn’t ready due to all the reported problems with the app. Update after deleting the app: I am much more enjoying my brushing experiences without the app! By paying attention to the colored lights on my iO Series 9 brush’s handle, I’m able to see when I’m applying too much pressure or not enough pressure, and so I’m able to get a full (and good) brushing session in 2 minutes (or slightly longer). Plus, the brush quickly vibrates twice every
Latest version of the firmware update to iO brush has introduced a new bug where the color ring does not show when the brush is removed off of charging stand or at any time whenever it’s not actually running/brushing. This wasn’t how it was before and the whole point behind the colored ring is to use it as an identifier for who’s brush it is BEFORE you start using it. Since the ring no longer turns On as it’s removed from the charging stand, this is now a problem. This needs to be fixed and reverted back to have the ring turn On before you start brushing so the user can know who’s brush they’ve picked up. Please fix this ASAP!!!
Please move gym bleeding question to bottom of checklist o, even better, provide an option to completely hide it. Anyone who’s gums are bleeding so frequently that they need this at the top every day has more of a problem than a toothbrush can solve.
Never had problems with the app until recently. Using iPhone 15 Pro Max. App is up to date. But now it doesn’t always update history or show toothbrush charging.
This app would be great - IF it would show the correct date and time for my brushing sessions!! However it does not. On the support site it says if you use the brush without the app it will cause this issue but once you use the app it will be fine. Not true!! I NEVER used my brush without the app and yet it tells me (for example) that today I brushed at 4:48 am and 3:01 pm. Not even close!! I would NEVER be awake at 4:48 am. It was more like 9 something this morning. My other session was 11:45 or so. The time on the charger is correct as is the time on my phone. PLEASE make your app actually be able to tell time - CORRECTLY!!!
Great!!
This app is a gimmick. I do not want to use my phone at yet another place in the house. Would be nice if this was a Apple Watch app with the option to mirror the display, so you can see it in the mirror - a feature that would also make sense for the display on the actual toothbrush. One star - it works well, but I want oral B to read this
I really like this app overall. How ever I wish the follow along brush was more interactive. And the sensor can be off somtimes. It should be have visuals for your gums, braces, and tongue.
