Orchid Id - British Orchids

I love the app. One big ask is would it be possible to add more than one picture of each sighting. A whole plant. A closeup of the flower and maybe one of the leaf. I don’t want to make three entries of the same plant if I can help it. Also you cannot zoom into your pictures. If those two features were fixed it would be perfect.

I purchased this on the strength of the wild flower and tree apps that I have already. I know very little about orchids, but this contains enough information and clear photos to enjoy.

Love this app, it's really satisfying for when you completely recognise a flower but can't place a name to it, this app really helps you. Great for natures lovers like me !

This is a great app for people who love orchids. I like the fact that you can track your sightings, and it also gives you pictures of the orchids in case you didn't know it. All I all a great app.

This app is great for nature lovers like me and anyone who would like to id flowers and plants. This app gives you great information about plants and nature and I am loving all of the apps in the id series.

A useful app. It would be excellent if it were extended to include information about each orchid as would be found in a wild flower book.

Some beautiful photos . I'm not an orchid expert but enjoy using this app and find it easy to navigate.

I'm disappointed with this app: I bought it after coming across hundreds of orchids in a meadow and wanted to know what they were, yet they don't appear on the app. The "all species native to the UK are covered" doesn't include any sub-species or hybridisation so none of the three species I could see are featured. :( An update from 2011 including more photos and colour variants would be really useful. Until then I'll be sticking to carrying an FSC guide.
