It’s not Orthodox, it’s Coptic!!!
The main theological difference between the Orthodox Church and the Coptics revolves around the Christological disagreement that emerged during the Council of Chalcedon in 451 AD. Chalcedonian Creed: - The Orthodox Church adheres to the Chalcedonian Creed, which defined the nature of Christ as having two distinct, inseparable natures – fully divine and fully human. This is often referred to as the "Chalcedonian definition" or the "dyophysite" position. Non-Chalcedonian Position: - The Coptics rejected the Chalcedonian definition. They hold a non-Chalcedonian or "miaphysite" position, emphasizing the unity of the divine and human natures in Christ. According to their perspective, Christ has one nature that is both fully divine and fully human.
