With the OSL app, you can purchase single, daily, or 30-day season tickets for Oulu Region transport at any time and from anywhere. You have the option to buy multiple tickets in a single transaction. Payment for your ticket can be made within the app using a Visa, Visa Electron, or Mastercard debit or credit card, mobile payment, or MobilePay.
Once purchased, the ticket is activated immediately. It will display a QR code and show the remaining validity period. To begin your journey, including transfers between buses, simply present the QR code on your ticket to the reader located at the bottom of the bus ticket reader.
These tickets are valid for travel on all buses within the Oulu Region transport area, which includes Ii, Kempele, Liminka, Lumijoki, Muhos, Oulu, and Tyrnävä.
Furthermore, the app offers additional features, such as access to a travel guide and real-time information on bus locations displayed on a map. This service can pinpoint your current location and provide information on the nearest bus lines, stops, routes, and timetables. The "Home" tab in the app also keeps you informed about any service exceptions or disruptions.
