Outread is not a routine speed reading application, which fails to fit into day to day life's flow. Outread works functionally so well that it gets integrated into your routine seemlessly. Additionally, using it effectively will increase the overall speed of reading. I use it in MAC M3 and it works pretty well. I will provide a follow up review after a long term usage. This is just the application I was looking for.

I would absolutely recommend this app to enhance your speed reading and comprehension skills. Totally worth it!

Excellent speed reading app. The best part is it’s simplicity. Been using this app for more than a year now. Other apps are unnecessarily complicated and some don’t have the simple multiple fixations exercise. This app has only 2 exercises which are basically enough to improve your reading speed and comprehension. I have used many speed reading apps and softwares over the years and I’ve realised that all other ‘eye training’ exercises are essentially useless. The paid version is crazy expensive for someone looking to go beyond 600 wpm but I don’t think I’ll be getting there anytime soon and in any case 600 wpm would be way too much speed for me. For someone looking to hover around the 200-300 mark, like me, this app is perfect because it’s free. I would have preferred the margins to be wider and different font size options for each exercise because I am slightly visually challenged, but that doesn’t decrease the utility of this app for me. I’m using a slightly older version of the app because my iPad is old so I don’t know if those changes have been done for the new version, but the old version still works for me. Overall it’s a great app, for beginners and seasoned readers alike, and I highly recommend it.

Please make it retain original format of the epub. The bold text is flattened. I need to speed read ebooks, but those highlighted bold text disappeared. I'd use Marvin speed reader but that doesn't support guided reading like outread. just RSVP which they call karoake. the looks of marvin + features of outread is what would make this perfect.

My preferred app for reading anything online. Paid features are worth the spend. I’ve read full e-books with the tool and will be exploring the built-in library soon.
