Why can’t I use the cars I paid for?

I am happy that game came back, but they say on there website that ALL the cars work… nope, the fast and furious cars arn’t even on the app! The cars from the original anki will work, the only way the game works is if you have one of their two cars that they made because the stupid ai will only chose one of their cars. I wish that anki will be able to take control of overdrive someday.

Got Overdrive out of the box to play for the first time in a long time, only to find the original Anki apps are no longer available to re-download to my devices. Spent $2.99 to purchase the “new” (not updated in two+ years) app by Digital Dream Labs, and spent a frustrating hour trying to get this product to work. No matter what I do, it will not work. Thanks for nothing, DDL!

Sound doesn’t work on any device, and they give you no options to fix it when testing. When recovering an old account sending a recovery link does not work. The free version had no issues in my experience. Also I would have appreciated being able to still use the old free app even if limited in functionality.

The old Anki Overdrive app was absolutely awesome. This app is absolute garbage. First of all good luck getting it to scan anything other than an oval track. I have about 30 pieces of track and I’ve spent over an hour changing pieces around to finally come to the conclusion that it will not complete the track scan if it’s not an oval track. I see videos on YouTube of people using this app with huge tracks so I don’t know what’s changed since then. I’m not using any jumps, speed tracks, or collision tracks just plain curves & straight pieces and it just won’t complete the scan. The cars just keep driving around forever. The cars also won’t line up at the starting line. They all try to line up in the inside lane pushing each other across the starting line and off the track every single time. Then there’s problems where it won’t let you choose cars and you have to force close the app and restart in order to choose the car you want. Then it’s crash after crash after crash. Absolute complete garbage which is really sad because I really loved this game and was hoping to play it with my son. Unfortunately it’s just not fun at all as of 6/21/24.

A while back me and my family would play this and it was fun! One problem that was on ANKI OVERDRIVE which no longer exists apparently. I lost a every single car except for two, a truck and the red one. But when I try connecting the truck it acts like it does not exist and I can't play unless I have two cars on the track!!! Fix your game!

So, I have these really old overdrive cars, and today I tried to take them out a play with them, then I realized the app got taken Down and that this was the new one, so I bought it, it “worked” for a second before the GroundShock car just refused to connect, I reinstalled the app, and it wouldn’t pair. DONT GET THIS APP!!!!

It use to be free and work great now I had to pay three dollars and have it not connect to any cars or semi truck . Just want to battle cars like befor in the free app

This app is amazing but there is just one thing missing from it and it would make all of the overdrive players love, and it’s the old soundtrack, JUST PLEASE BRING IT BACK and it would make this even better, even though it’s already super good. That’s all, overall great app

I have been an anki fan for a long time, and I was really disappointed when they went out of business a few years back. I loved the app for the original anki overdrive for several reasons: 1 it worked and was fun 2 the music was really fitting and nice to listen to 3 the sound effects were really cool 4 I loved the shop system 5 the upgrade system was really cool 6 the story mode was great 7 there weren’t many bugs holding the game back 8 the cars rarely ever went off the track Now, when digital dreamlabs took over they promised to have infinidrive/overdrive 2.6 going and made all these promises, now I’ve waiting a long time and I haven’t seen much change so I don’t know if they’re still developing the game at all or what’s going on. It’s too bad they took the original off the App Store because when I got my new phone I couldn’t reinstall it, so I bought this. It’s a nice nod to the original, but it’s not well developed. Here are a few of the problems I have with it: 1 the game is very buggy 2 there is no music at all 3 the game doesn’t fit the screen properly 4 there is no way to change your vehicle or the opponents vehicle without restarting the app 5 the cars constantly go off the track no matter how clean the track or tires are 6 it crashes a lot in the middle of a game 7 you can’t use drive cars in the tournament anymore 8 it costs $2.99 for the app after paying for all the track pieces, chargers, cars, rails, risers, jumps, etc. 9 the power strip from fast and furious straight up doesn’t work for some reason 10 the fast and furious cars don’t function properly (maybe because digital dreamlabs lost the rights to F&F?) 11 nuke phantom doesn’t work right 12 every time I try to update the firmware on a car it crashes the app after installing it 13 the atmosphere that the original had isn’t present in this version, it just doesn’t have that same charm With all that being said, it’s still fun sometimes and it’s nice to see digital dream labs trying to keep the game alive, but it would be really nice if they’d do a bit more with the game and make it less buggy, the last update was over a year ago, so I’m kinda getting the feeling that they’re done with this which is unfortunate. I wouldn't suggest purchasing this as the negatives seem to outweigh the positives on this one, but if you’re really itching to play overdrive and you don’t have the original app, then go for it, you’ll just have to be really patient. I hope they fix this game and make it fun aga
