Love that you can track everything, from pregnancy to birth and beyond Very useful info and data
Since I got pregnant, I have been reading Ovia news almost everyday. And my son is 15 months old now! Information is useful and presented in a simple, easy, interesting way. I would open my app everyday when I was pregnant waiting for exciting news about my baby’s development in my belly and now I get their e-mails which I read whenever I have a break from my now toddler. Very helpful!
La información que contiene es muy útil y confiable. La recomiendo
As handy as Ovia Pregnancy. Great backup information and easy to use.
Simple, a lot of useful information. Great community forum.
Used Ovia for a while through pregnancy and now as a parent and then started seeing political articles in my baby app. Are you freaking kidding me? Should not have to see articles such as tips to raising a gender fluid baby. Also the app crashes constantly. Putting in breastfeeding is a two step process while being littered with lots of adds. Then there is no dark mode so there are too many problems to keep using it even though it’s free.
This is the one of the best app have used so far keep it up I love you.
Although I greatly benefited from the Ovia Pregnancy app, I was disappointed by the parenting version. 90% of the articles on my feed pertained to returning to work and had very little to do with…parenting. I was further disappointed when an article by the title of “Managing your period as a trans, genderqueer, or non-binary person” appeared on my timeline. Not only does this have nothing to do with parenting, it also falls short of being remotely substantiated by medical research or reality. The title alone is bizarre and ridiculous. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. However, I shouldn’t have been surprised.
This app has been very useful for logging feedings and sleep, diaper changes and milestones, especially loving that dad can have his own login to access the app, but the app desperately needs a dark mode for users that can’t use the bright white background (not to mention even on the lowest brightness setting on my phone, it’s still too bright for logging a nursing session while trying to get baby to sleep. It would also be helpful to fix it so that if one person logs that baby fell asleep at a certain time, the other user can also see that it was logged before the sleep end time is input.
My wife and I started using Ovia apps with our first child a couple years ago, and transitioned to the Parenting app after they were born. 2 years later, still no dark/night mode and the interface is littered with ads. I put up with the ads because this is a free app and it is GREAT for keeping track of feedings and poops/pees. But why on earth there isn’t a dark mode for middle of the night feedings is beyond me; especially during that newborn phase. We just had our second and I figured that’s a feature that would’ve been added by now. Here we are, in the year 2024, and a simple addition like that can’t be added to help parents not get blinded by the literal light!? C’mon guys
