Ovvy - The Service Marketplace

This app was working better earlier. Nowadays frustrating. 1) I tried to create a job and when i submit job, it suddenly logged me out and asked me to login again. Frustrated. I needed to key in details again, because they didn’t retain the information I keyed in earlier. Seriously? Its 2023 2) I logged in and Then I keyed in again with the all info and when I submit i got an error: “An error occurred. Server error”. Omg. Cant move forward

this app does not have a cancellation/changing of appointment policy . upfront when posting the job , you are charged immediately when they pair you up with random vendors that might or might not be able to fulfill all the jobs you require . Hence use at your own risk if you want to try . and the customer service ? non existent

Called him n he came within a day. My units were blowing air. He did some Trouble shooting n realise my transform is faulty. Gave us some options. We wld consider them. 1st try. Was good. Can call him for your Air con matters

Can’t choose the date of the repair. Only the current date (today) is available. Have tried re-installing the app twice. Hope this bug is fixed soon

This app is amazing , I have used it a couple of times and every time it is so Efficient. I am able to get various services like a handy man or get my aircon fixed or even getting my ikea furniture assembled at a fraction of the price . Truly amazing app for services in singapore that are often hard to find with a Google search.

- I posted - I got many responses, quotes varying in prices from 0$ to 350$ for my electrical repair work. - I selected one highly rated electrician. - He promptly gave me a revised quote of 3x of what price I initially accepted - he kept delaying and never bothered to come and do the repair despite me contacting him repeatedly - now I don’t know how to get a refund of the money that Ovvy already took from me. No end to end responsibility by ovvy. ”Contact us” doesn’t work (keeps rotating endlessly in circles) Not recommended Terrible trap I got myself into!

I cannot open the chat after paying and contact the service provider.

This app is ridiculous. Have made serval offers to different requests, and have offered them to chat, however, the same request from the same customer was put into the market again, the customer don’t even bother to reply or negotiate the price. The price I offered is very reasonable and I have specifically told the customers it is negotiable, still, none reply. Giving me a feeling that they are just robot, and this app is just trying to fake that they are popular. Would not use the app again, don’t even want to give a single star.
